Entomophily or insect pollination is a form of pollination whereby pollen of plants, especially but not only of flowering plants, is distributed by insects. Flowers which are pollinated by insects are called entomophilous flowers. They are brightly colored and produce good odour to attract the insects for pollination. The pollen grains of those flowers are sticky/little spiny so that they can easily attach to the body of insects.

The distance between two polynucleotide chains in DNA remain almost same because it follow the point that purine always connect with pyamidrine by hydrogen bond.

Rohit Krishna 5 years, 5 months ago

Also, the nitrogenous bases are arranged in a way such that purines are always opposite to pyrimidines and hence a constant pairing with equal intervals in between is present.

Rohit Krishna 5 years, 5 months ago

The distance between 2 polynucleotide chains of DNA remains constant as both the strands are 'antiparallel'

Kritika Yadav 5 years, 5 months ago

The purines in DNA are adenine and guanine, the same as in RNA. The pyrimidines in DNA are cytosine and thymine; in RNA, they are cytosine and uracil. Purines are larger than pyrimidines because they have a two-ring structure while pyrimidines only have a single ring.

It is because the newly produced cell is able to give rise to new young ones. And mother is the only power on this planet to give birth. And by the way it is not a silly question dear.

? ? 5 years, 5 months ago

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

Reproduction is a fundamental feature of all living organisms. It is a biological process by which living organisms produce offspring’s similar to them. Reproduction ensures the continuity of various species on the Earth. In the absence of reproduction, the species will not be able to exist for a long time and may soon get extinct.
