single celled organism keeps on dividing into two by asexual reproduction. So, at the end of there life cycle they simply divide and not die naturally. ... So, until and unless these forces comes into play the cell keeps on dividing and we can say that there is no natural death in single celled organism.

DNA fingerprinting is a technique that simultaneously detects lots of minisatellites in the genome to produce a pattern unique to an individual. This is a DNA fingerprint.
The probability of having two people with the same DNA fingerprint that are not identical twins is very small.
Just like your actual fingerprint, your DNA fingerprint is something you are born with, it is unique to you.

RFLP(Restriction fragment length polymorphism) :RFLP analyzes the length of the strands of the DNA molecules with repeating base pair patterns. DNA molecules are long strands found tightly wound in chromosomes which are contained in the nucleus of each human cell. Within each DNA strand are numbers of genes that determine the particular characteristics of an individual. While about 5% of the gene compositions on DNA contain this type of genetic information, the other 95% do not. However, of the 95%, these non-coding genes contain identifiable repetitive sequences of base pairs, which are called Variable Number Tandem Repeats (VNTR). To extract a DNA fingerprint, a Southern blot is performed and the DNA is analyzed via a radioactive probe. The restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis is used to detect the repeated sequences by determining a specific pattern to the VNTR, which becomes the person's DNA fingerprint.

The drawback with this system is that it requires a considerable amount of DNA in order to be used.

Initiation :The complementary strands of DNA double helix are separated by two enzyme, DNA gyrase and DNA helicase. This is called unwinding of double standed DNA. Elongation : An enzyme called primase initiates replicate of the strand oriented in the 3' 5'direction. This generate 10- 60nucleotides long primer RNA.

Sickle cell anemia is a disease in which your body produces abnormally shaped red blood cells. The cells are shaped like a crescent or sickle. They don't last as long as normal, round red blood cells. This leads to anemia. The sickle cells also get stuck in blood vessels, blocking blood flow. This can cause pain and organ damage. A genetic problem causes sickle cell anemia.

  • Evolution occurs inside the population of animals, bringing about speciation.
  • Succession occurs with one population, however an entire environmental network. This implies after some time, as advancement happens, the natural progression will result. Environmental progression can't occur without evolution, however, development can occur without natural progression.
  • For instance, after some time we can watch the finches on the Galapagos islands advancing and turning out to be new species. This is simple evolution
  • Over some stretch of time, in light of new types of finches, new bugs and new plants likewise evolve on these islands. This is ecological succession

Recombinant DNA, which is often shortened to rDNA, is an artificially made DNA strand that is formed by the combination of two or more gene sequences. This new combination may or may not occur naturally, but is engineered specifically for a purpose to be used in one of the many applications of recombinant DNA.
