No ...dont learn those figures. They keep on changing from time to time as more species are discovered..as ncert was edited quite a good time ago ...figures must have changed by now....but plz do learn the evil quartet and examples associated with that topic. Thay are very often asked ...the pie charts and graph is also imp. ?

Two laws were given..law of dominance and law of segregation....these laws are based on the experiments performed by mendel and in this he discusses inhertance on the basis of factors and alleles....the law of Independent assortment is not included under the laws of inheritance.
