Old P.S.R. = 2/5: 2/5 : 1/5

New Share of D = 1/6 = 5/30 = 10/60

New Share of C = 1/5 = 6/30 = 12/60

Remaining Profit = 1 - (1/5+1/6)

                           = 19/30

Share of A = 19/30 * 1/2 = 19/60

Share of B = 19/30 * 1/2 = 19/60

Sacrifice share by A = 2/5 - 19/60 = 5/60

Sacrifice share by B = 2/5 - 19/60 = 5/60

So, Sacrifice Ratio  = 1:1

New Profit Sharing Ratio = 19/60 : 19/60 : 12/60 : 10/60

                                        = 19: 19 : 12 : 10

Old ratio of A and B = 1:1 C's share =1/5 D's share =1/6 Remaining share = 1- (1/5+1/6) = 1- 11/30 =19/30 A's new share = 19/30 ×1/2 =19/60 B's new share =19/30 × 1/2 = 19/60 Hence, New P. sharing ratio= 19/60 : 19/60 : 1/5 : 1/6 = 19/60 : 19/60 : 12/60 : 10/60 =19 : 19 : 12 : 10

Because land is not a depreciated item. It is an appreciated item. We charge depreciation on those items only whose values decreases year after year. But in case of land, its value increases year after year, so we not charge depreciation at this item.

Prepare Partners capital A/c Dr. drawings of Mountain , hill and rock = 20,000 ,15,000 and 10,000. And Dr. the closing capital = 4,00,000 , 3,00,000 and 2,00,000. Cr. profit in the A/c of Mountain , hill , rock = 50,000 , 50,000 and 50,000 . Then the balance is the opening capital i.e 3,70,000 , 2,65,000 and 1,60,000. Now calculate interest on capital. Mountain = 3,70,000× 10/100 = 37,000 Hill = 2,65,000× 10/100 = 26,500 and Rock = 1,60,000×10/100 = 16,000
