very simple.. lets take eg. A and B are partners sharing profit in the ratio 3:2 . C admitted for 1/5 share in profit and acquired wholly from A. then new ratio will be A 3/5 -1/5 =2/5.... B 2/5 C 1/5 so new ratio will be 2:2:1

We need to let profit of that year i.e. Let the total profilt of this year =1 remaining profit = 1-share of new profit then, Multiply the remaining share with the old ratio of old partners and then match the denominator Here is your answer

First we need to change the profit sharing ratio because denominators are different in given question so make the denominators same then u will get. 6:4:3 Then divide 2400 in that ratio u will get answer ( A=1108. B=738. C=554)
