1.proper training should be given to farmers about judicious use of chemicals in farming activities to prevent crop diseases and increase production. 2.proper irrigation facilities by govt. to dry areas where irrigation facilities are not much developed. 3.land allotees with poor economic background should be given financial support. 4.water intensive crops should be avoided and citrus fruits should be encouraged. 5.shelterbelt plantation also really helpful for farmers in agriculture. 6.farmers should be make aware about use of hybrid seeds in proper and sufficient amount may increase production and excess use may cause harm to crop.

Size of territory and per capita income are not directly related to human development due to following reasons:1.often smaller countries have done better in human development. 2.example-srilanka and Tobago have ranked higher than India in terms of human development even though they have small size than India. 3.in India also kerala performs much better than punjab and Gujarat in human development despite having lower per capita income. 4.countries with higher human development are those where a lot of investment in social sector has taken place.

(i) Cotton in the ball has limited use but after it is transformed into yarn becomes more valuable and can be used for making clothes.

Nomadic Herding:

(i)Nomadic herding or pastoral nomadism is a primitive subsistence activity, in which the herders rely on animals for food, clothing, shelter, tools and transport.

(ii)They move from one place to another along with their livestock, depending on the amount and quality of pastures and water.

(iii)Each nomadic community occupies a well-identified territory as a matter of tradition.

(iv)A wide variety of animals is kept in different regions.

(v)Pastoral nomadism is associated with three important regions.

Commercial Livestock Rearing

(i)Unlike nomadic herding, commercial livestock rearing is more organised and capital intensive.

(ii)Commercial livestock ranching is essentially associated with western cultures and is practised on permanent ranches.

(iii)These ranches cover large areas and are divided into a number of parcels, which are fenced to regulate the grazing. When the grass of one parcel is grazed, animals are moved to another parcel.

(iv)The number of animals in a pasture is kept according to the carrying capacity of the pasture.

(v)This is a specialised activity in which only one type of animal is reared

Demographic transition is the theory based upon fertility and morality which was given by W. S. Thompson in 1929and revised by Frank S Note stain in1945. It mainly include 3stages 1. in first stage both birth rate and death rate increased due to more children to compensate for the deaths. In this stage people have low life expectancy,illiterate and low level of technology. 2.in second stage, at starting fertility is high but it declines with passage if time and mortality declines due to improvement in health facility. 3.in third stage, both fertility and mortality rate declines. People's in this stage are literate, urbanized and high technical knowledge.
