Granny used to wake him up and get him ready for school. Granny used to walk the author to his school and then visit the temple attached to the school every day. She would sit and read Scriptures. On their way back to the home she used to feed the stale chapattis to the street dogs. that was the grandmother's routine when she lives with the author in village home.

Woke the narrator early in the morning ,bathe and dressed the author she sings prayer in a monotenous way for learning the narrator ,gave the narrator stale chappati with butter and spread sugar on it.wash the wooden slate,plastered and gave to author .she always went school daily with narrator andtook some stale chapattis for village dogs because school is joint with the temple.that was grandmother's routine when she lived with author in village.
