Anjali,I think you misinterpreted the line .Sanju the answer can be according to me Grandmother not like the teaching of English school as 1.She can't help the narrator in his studies when narrator told him about western science, English words and things like Archimedes principle, law of gravity etc 2 According to her music is lewd association which is only for prostitutes and for beggars not for the gentle flock. So,becoz of these reasons grandmother don't like the teaching of English school...

Carter place the coffin outside in sunshine so that he could loose the resin as the coffin was made up of solid gold and was cemented. After some time tried to remove but nothing happened so to take out mummy from the coffin hi cutted it.
