The author lived with his grandmother in the village while his parents had shifted to the city . They shared a strong bond build with love , mutual trust and friendship. She would help the author with his homework , care for him and feed him lovingly .
The TURNING POINT in their friendship was when they were called to the city by the authors parents . They shifted to the city and then onwards everything changed . Now they saw less of each other . The author started attending the city school . he went to school by a motor bus . Thus, the grandmother could not accompany him to the school. also he was taught Archimedes Principle, western sciences and hence she could not help him with his studies. Moreover , the thought of Music lessons was also revolting for her as she felt that music was a monopoly of beggars not meant for gentle folk.

Novels has been deleted from syllabus. but the answer to ur query is given below
Lemuel Gulliver is the main character of the novel Gulliver's Travels. He is a bold adventurer who visits many strange places. The reader sees him go through many adventures. Despite the courage Gulliver displays throughout his voyages, his character lacks basic greatness. He appears to have no sense of mission or a drive to do something. He believes what he is told. He is honest and expects others to be honest. It is this quality that adds human and irony to the novel.
In Book 1, he possesses moral superiority over the Lilliputians. In Book 2, the moral superiority of the Brobdingnagians is greater than that of Gulliver. In Book 4, Gulliver represents the middle ground between pure reason and pure animalism. Gulliver identifies himself with the Houyhnhnms and thinks of the Yahoos as alien and animal. When he arrives in London, Gulliver seeks to change his basic nature by thinking and reason becomes the sole guide of his life.

The primary message of the story, The Summer of the Beautiful Horse, is that despite social or economic challenges, there are some truths which are absolute and should be practiced under and all conditioned. It is undeniable that the story is set within a family that is poor. Their poverty is not used as a crutch or something that limits the emotional quotient of the boys or the people in the community.
