Atomic radius is the distance from the Centre of nucleus of the atom to the outermost shell of electrons.. Whereas ionic radius is the distance from nucleus of an ion to the point up to which it has an influence in the ionic bond.

Because it's molecules are more losely packed or we can say there is least force of attraction between their molecules and thus they have more kinetic energy as compared to liquids ....... Which helps them to get defused rapidly in comparison to liquids
