DNA replication is the process by which DNA makes a copy of itself during cell division. ... The separation of the two single strands of DNA creates a 'Y' shape called a replication 'fork'. The two separated strands will act as templates for making the new strands of DNA.

The entire organism can be preserved by using formalin, alcohol (70-90%) or by freezing. But to preserve the skeleton of animals or dry specimen the following method is used:

• Removal of soft tissues: surplus soft tissues from bones was removed by cutting them. The bones were then transferred to 10% NaOH solution and then boiled.

• Removal of fatty tissues: by immersing bones in chloroform.

• Bleaching: the dried bones were transferred to Hydrogen peroxide for bleaching.

• Theses bones are then dried and can be preserved for a long time

DNA is a group of molecules that is responsible for carrying and transmitting the hereditary materials or the genetic instructions from parents to offsprings.

This is also true for viruses as most of these entities have either RNA or DNA as their genetic material. For instance, some viruses may have RNA as their genetic material, while others have DNA as the genetic material. The Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) contains RNA, which is then converted into DNA after attaching itself to the host cell.

Configuration is an arrangement of parts or elements in a particular form, figure, or combination.
e.g. What's the configuration of PC?

Conformation is any of the spatial arrangements which the atoms in a molecule may adopt and freely convert between, especially by rotation about individual single bonds.
e.g. a change of DNA conformation induced by binding of RNA polymerase

Cell: Cell is the basic structural and functional unit of living organism. Just as bricks is unit structure of house.

Each cell is capable of performing a basic function of life. Such as reproduction, respiration, excretion, growth, and so on.

The combined views of Schleiden and Schwann led to the formulation of the cell theory.

The cell theory is also known as the cell doctrine or cell principle. It state:
1.All living organisms’ are made up of cells and their products.

2. All cells arise from pre- existing cell.

3. Cells are the structural and functional unit of all living organisms.

4. Cell is hereditary cells.

5. All cells are basically alike in chemical composition and metabolic activities.

6. Life passes from one generation to other generation in the form of a living cell.

Sterilization can be achieved by a combination of heat, chemicals, irradiation, high pressure and filtration like steam under pressure, dry heat, ultraviolet radiation, gas vapor sterilants, chlorine dioxide gas etc. Sterilization techniques include all the means used to completely eliminate or destroy living microorganisms on any object, including tools used to test or treat patients. Sterilization can be achieved through various means, including heat, chemicals, irradiation, high pressure, and filtration. Sterilization is distinct from disinfection, sanitization, and pasteurization, in that those methods reduce rather than eliminate all forms of life and biological agents present.
