Assuming its Anne Sullivan
Miss Anne Mansfield Sullivan had the greatest influence on the life, character snd acheivements of Helen Keller. She gave a new direction, meaning and purpose to Helen's dark life. Miss Sullivan inherited all those triats and characterisitcs that go in making a perfect teacher. She was a picture of tireless patience and unreading devotion. It was her constant encoragement, help and guidence that made Helen Keeler first deaf and blind in the world to earn a bachelor degree.
It was Graham Bell who advised the parents of Helen Keller to contact the Perkins Institute for the Blind. The director, Mr. Anagnos asked a former student of Miss Anne Sullivan to become Keller's instructor. Miss Sullivan was herself a visually impaired 20 year old lady. It was he begining of a 49-year-long relationship. The relationship evolved into Miss Sullivan becoming Helen's governess and then eventul companion. Anne Sullivan arrived at Keller's house in March 1887.
She immediatiely began to teach Helen to communicate by spel;ling words into her hand, begining with "d-o-l-l" for the doll. It was Miss Sullivan who unfolded and developed Helen's skills and possibilities. It was Sullivan's genius as a teacher, her sympathy and loving tact which made learning so beautiful and interesting for Helen Keller. She felt that her being was inseparable from her student. All that was the best in Helen Keller had been awakened by the loving touch touch of Miss Sullivan.
Anne Sullivan stayed as a companion to Helen Keller long after she taught her. Anne Sullivan married John Macy in 1905. She remained a s a constant companion to Helen Keller till she died in 1936.

Man is
mortal indeed! In the eternal onward march of life kings, emperors, despots,
generals, etc. do not matter at all! Life is immortal. He doesn’t know what its
design is! When in the long past, Ozymandias was such a mighty king in Egypt,
he was so high-handed and arrogant of his power, wealth, and valour. He thought
nobody could defeat him. He won many wars against his adversaries also. He got
his statues built throughout his kingdom so that people would look at his works
and shudder. However, his glory lasted only a few years. He became old, weak,
and finally died. He was so sad at the approaching death. All his wealth,
victories, and pride could not save him from the claws of death!
After a few centuries not even a trace of his
kingdom was left! His palace, his wealth, the statues and buildings he had got
built, all decayed into ruins. His statues lie broken, surrounded by sandy
deserts on all sides. Not a single statue is intact! All broken! All men are
equal. It does not matter whether you are a common man or an emperor! All die
at the end. All power belongs to time, life, and God, who created the both.
Only art and creativity survive. For example, the sculptor who sculpted his
statue, he has survived till now in his art. Life is so complex and powerful.
The best a man a can do is do good deeds and be humble. So man must not allow any arrogance to cloud his understanding regarding his mortality. Only humble deeds are remembered!

Dr. Graham
Bell was a famous American innovator. He was a remarkable person and had always
been very kind and helpful to Helen and Miss Sullivan. It was he who introduced
Mr. Anagnos to her parents, and Miss Sullivan who came to teach her at her
home. Whenever Helen was in difficulty, Dr. Bell extended a helping hand to
her.
He showed
and explained many of his experiments to Helen. Helen felt indebted to him and
acknowledged her indebtedness to him, quoting that he brought her from darkness
to light, from isolation to friendship, knowledge and love.
Helen
visited the World Fair with him; and he told her how autophones and other
inventions made communication easier in the world. He described each object in
the electrical world to her with utmost interest. Helen spent many days in his
laboratory listening to his experiments. These experiences matured Helen and
she felt that she had taken a great leap from the world of fairy tales to the
real practical world.
Besides
being caring and kind, he was humorous and poetic also. He was very fond of
children. He did a lot to improve the life of the disabled. Dr. Bell remained
as a sustaining influence in Helen’s life. In spite of being a great man of
high status, he was very modest, noble and sympathetic.
