This famous and remarkable sonnet written ny Percy Bysshe Shelly...the poem revolves around the foolish pride of a conceited king Ozymandias, whose staute symbolises the destruction caused by time...it brings out the transitory nature of life and its pretentions of fame and fortune....In the sonnet, a traveller meets the poet and tells him about the staute of Ozymandias, a mighty king. This poem reveals the truth that the power of arrogant people fails to perpetuate their name and fame......HOPE IT HELPS YU?

Helen Keller

Hellen Keller was an American author, political activist and lecturer who was born on June 27, 1880 at Tuscumbia, a little town in northern Alabama. She lost her ability to see and hear at the age of nineteen months due to illness. The world became dark for her but soon her teacher came and enlighten her path. Her teacher, Miss Sullivan taught her to communicate and helped in learning many great things.

Helen was a great lover of nature and studied mostly with nature. She travelled a lot as she had desire to see and experience new things. She liked the company of others also. She made many friends in her journey. She learnt various subjects with the help of her teacher. She became weak when her first writing was regarded as plagiarism but she soon overcame. — Lutkins impressed the lawyer with his friendly manner; led the lawyer to think that the people of the town were trustworthy.

— claimed to know most of the places where Lutkins could be found

— befooled the lawyer

— charged high price for the hack and food

— alerted Fritz, friends and mother not to reveal his identity to the lawyer

— even went to the railway station to see him off

— on his second visit the lawyer learnt that the hack driver himself was Lutkins

— no one should be too trusting

Detailed Answer :

The lawyer used to work as an apprentice with a law firm. He had to serve summons on witnesses as a part of his job. He was sent to New Mullion to serve summons on Oliver Lutkins, a prime witness in a law case. When he reached the town and was making enquiries about Lutkins, he met a hack driver who was in fact Lutkins and took him to many places like Beincke’s, Gustaff ’s barber shop, Gray’s barber shop, poolroom and his mother’s farmyard. At every place they went in, (first and then when the lawyer went) people said that he had not come there or just missed him by five minutes. The hack driver told the lawyer that Lutkins owed him money also and thus he appeared a genuine and helpful person to the lawyer. Thus Lutkins, very cleverly, fooled the lawyer and he (the lawyer) was not able to complete his work that day.

The author of the diary. Anne was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany, and was four years old when her father moved to Holland to find a better place for the family to live. She is very intelligent and perceptive, and she wants to become a writer. Anne grows from an innocent, tempestuous, precocious, and somewhat petty teenage girl to an empathetic and sensitive thinker at age fifteen. Over the course of the diary, she grows from a spoiled, somewhat naive young girl of thirteen to a self-aware young woman of fifteen. Although she has little political consciousness at the beginning of the diary, she grows to question anti-Semitism and the point of war. During her time in the annex, she suffers from boredom, despair, and the petty persecution of those around her. She also discovers a wealth of good qualities in herself. After the annex residents are discovered, she goes to the concentration camp at Belsen, in Germany, where she dies before her sixteenth birthday. Anne dies of typhus in the concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen in late February or early March of 1945.

Helen had high hopes and college life but was left completely disillusioned. She found that there was too much stress on learning no time Whatsoever for self analysis or introspection. The pupils were trained in cramming the lessons and the process of understanding and relating the lessons was completely missing. The predominant thought in the minds of the pupils was written test and the exams. There was too much of choice with two little use of it. She found the pattern to be complete disorganised and non- synchronised. Helen feel that she was a Bull in a China shop. Here China shop refers to the examination system. According to Helen, before an examination she had to go through many different aspects of study due to which her mind become overburdend with heterogeneous matter which would almost disappear while attempting an exam. She tried to remember the points and not down to put them into order but unfortunately she could not make head and tail out of it. It seemed as ifthe answers had been buried deep in the pool of thoughts of mind searching for them equated looking for a bit of silk in a rag bag.
