Data is transfered over internet using protocol TCP/IP.data to be transfered are fragmented into small packets thwn after headers are assigned to each packet so as to reasssemble the packets on arrival at destination. source and destination address are assigned in the form of IP address (unique address of every machine)

Advantages:

Email is less aggressive than calling people. You give them the chance to respond when they want to.
You can reach out to more people, faster. Email is also comfortable, because you don’t have to deal with the direct communication (present in cold calling situation), so you are more motivated.
You have everything automatically archived with an email (i feel kind of dumb saying an obvious thing like this, but oh well :)
If you are using an email to sell, you can automate it much better than calling people.
