Colloids
- A colloid is a kind of solution in which the size of solute particles is intermediate between those in true solutions and those in suspensions.
- For Example: - Soap solution, Milk, Ink, Blood and solutions of synthetic detergents.
Mixtures
- A mixture is a substance which consists of two or more elements or compounds not chemically combined together.
- For Example: - Air is a mixture of gases like oxygen, nitrogen, argon, CO2 and water vapour.
Suspensions
- Those substances which are insoluble in water form suspensions.
- A suspension is a heterogeneous mixture in which the small particles of a solid are spread throughout a liquid without dissolving.
- For Example:-Chalk-powder, muddy water, milk of magnesia, flour in water etc.

The term “prokaryote” is derived from the Greek word “pro“, (meaning: before) and “karyon” (meaning: kernel). It translates to “before nuclei.“
The term “Eukaryotes” is derived from the Greek word “eu“, (meaning: good) and “karyon” (meaning: kernel), therefore, translating to “good or true nuclei.” Eukaryotes are more complex and much larger than the prokaryotes. They include almost all the major kingdoms except kingdom monera.

Displacement is the actual length gap between starting & finishing points.
In this case, they are same, so Net displacement is zero. we know that the shortest gap between the initial and final positions the body is coming back to the initial position the net displacement is zero.
Distance travelled is the length which is actually covered by the moving body.
As the body goes up for "h" length and comes down "h" length, so
Net distance travelled= h+ h= 2h

The principle is that the slope of the line on a position-time graph is equal to the velocity of the object. If the object is moving with a velocity of +4 m/s, then the slope of the line will be +4 m/s.

Galileo Galilei is considered to be one of the fathers of modern science due to his extensive research in astronomy and physics. One of his greatest contributions involved accurately measuring the effect of gravity on free falling bodies. Galileo hypothesized that a falling object would gain equal amounts of velocity in equal amounts of time, which meant that its speed increased at a constant rate as it fell. There was one problem, however, in testing this hypothesis: Galileo could not observe the object's free falling motion and at the time, technology was unable to record such high speeds. As a result, Galileo tried to decelerate its motion by replacing the falling object with a ball rolling down an inclined plane. Since free falling is essentially equivalent to a completely vertical ramp, he assumed that a ball rolling down a ramp would speed up in the exact same way as a falling ball would.

There are three states of matter – solid, liquid and gas.
Solid: Matters which have fixed volume and shape are called solids. For example - stone, wood, brick, ice, sugar, salt, coal, etc. All metals are solid except mercury and gallium.
Liquid: Matters which have fixed volume but indefinite shape are called liquids. For example - milk, water, petrol, kerosene, alcohol, oil, etc. Since liquid can flow, it is also called fluid.
Gas: Matters which have indefinite shape and volume are called gases. For example - air, oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon-dioxide, etc.

The following are the reasons why virus need host cells for replication:
1) Despite the fact that viruses carry their own genome in the form of DNA or RNA molecules, they lack the necessary ribosomal RNAs and ribosomal proteins required for the process of replication. This is why viruses take up the cells host protein building mechanisms to form their own viral copies.
2) Due to the viruses' simple nature, they require energy from their host cells to drive the process of their replication. This is because they lack the ability to manufacture and use up the energy.

Those organisms whose bodies are composed of cells are known as cellular organisms. Cellular organisms are further categorized into unicellular and multicellular. Unicellular organisms are composed of single cell while multicellular organisms are composed of many cells. Bacteria are the examples of unicellular organisms while Ulothrix is an example of multicellular organism.
Any creature that is made of cells that are able to replicate on their own. Humans, insects, plants, archaea, and bacteria are all cellular organisms.

Well, when we talk about the unit of light it does not make much sense practically. It’s mainly because light is not a physical quantity and as a result, it cannot be measured. However, light does have various physical properties like wavelength, intensity, speed, etc and these all can be measured.
