Undeveloped nucleus of prokaryotic cells

Saksham Mittal 5 years, 1 month ago

The nucleoid is the space within a prokaryotic cell where the genetic information, called the genophore, is found. Prokaryotes are divided into bacteria and archaea, which are both unicellular organisms that contain no membrane-bound organelles. The nucleoid, then, also has no membrane around it.

When force and displacement are in the same direction, the work performed on an object is said to be positive work. Example: When a body moves on the horizontal surface, force and displacement act in the forward path. The work is done in this case known as Positive work.

Yash Karemore 5 years, 1 month ago

there are types of work..

Yash Karemore 5 years, 1 month ago

When the force is applied on body and that body if gets displaced, then it is said to work. There are 3 types of work - i) +ve work done - this is when the direction of force applied and displacement of body is same. ii) -ve work done - this is when the direction of force applied and displacement on body is opposite. iii) zero work done - this is when the direction of force applied is perpendicular to the displacement of body..

S_P Tech 5 years, 1 month ago

Work done is force product of displacement W= f × s There is no type but if force is exerted and the displacement is occured then there will be a work done.

The change in color of the fruits on ripening is a chemical change.
It occurs due to the formation of new enzymes in the fruits.
Enzymes help in ripening of fruits.
An unripe fruit is green because it contains chloroplasts in its skin.
Towards ripening of the fruit, the chloroplasts are changed into chromoplasts which gives the fruit attractive non-green colour.

Plasmolysis is the process in which plant cell will lose the water and turgor pressure after being placed in hypertonic solution. During plasmolysis loss of turgor pressure can force the detachment of protoplast from the cell wall which will result into shrinking of protoplast. Plasmolysis is driven by vacuole. Plasmolysis is a reversible process and addition of hypotonic solution can lead the expansion of protoplast and reinstatement of original turgor pressure. During the plasmolysis majority of osmotic water flows into the central vacuole and drastic changes in protoplast size and shape can affect the subcellular architecture of the plant cell.
