Atomicity is defined as the total number of atoms present in a molecule. For example, each molecule of oxygen (O2) is composed of two oxygen atoms. So atomicity of oxygen is 2. In older contexts, atomicity is sometimes used in the same sense as valency

A force that does not change the state of rest or motion of an object is a balance force. So a balance force does neither make a body at rest to move nor make a body in motion to come in rest . it does not allow a body in motion to even change its direction or increases its speed too.

The given equation is x2+2(m−1)x+(m+5)=0 For the equation to have real and equal roots, the discriminant should be 0. ∴[2(m−1)]2−4(m+5)=0 ⇒4(m2−2m+1)=4(m+5) ⇒m2−3m−4=0 ⇒(m−4)(m+1)=0 ∴m=4 or m=−1
