Simple Permanent Tissue: Simple permanent tissue is composed of similar types of cells. Simple permanent tissues are of three types, viz. parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma.
(1) Parenchyma: The cells of parenchyma have thin cell wall.
(2) Collenchyma: The cell wall of collenchyma is thickened at corners.
(3) Sclerenchyma: The cell wall in sclerenchyma is highly thickened all around.

In general compounds are formed by the chemical combination (chemical reaction) of different elements, molecules with each other. Whereas mixtures are formed by the combination of different elements, molecules and even compounds which are not chemically reacted with each other.
Air is considered as a mixture of gases, as the component gases does not reacts with each other.
If the gases present in it reacts with each other then it will not considered as mixture but as a compound.

Electromagnets are made out of a coil of wire (wire curled in series). This is more effective in producing a magnetic field than just a wire running straight. This effect can be strengthened by winding a wire tightly around a powerful core, made of magnetic material, such as iron. The picture above shows a coil wound around an iron nail. On its own, the iron nail is not magnetic.

The value of G (universal gravitation constant) is calculated by substituting the values of mass of the earth and its radius and acceleration due to gravity which are know by the other means as G = 6.67 × 10-11 Nm2 kg-2.
g is referred as the acceleration of gravity. Its value is 9.8 m/s2 on Earth.

Change one system of unit in other system by first write the quantity in terms of fundamental quantities and then apply unit conversion rules. For example if you want to change unit of force Newton into dyne i.e. from SI unit to CGS unit.
First break Newton into fundamental units.
As, force = mass × acceleration
i.e. 1 N = 1 kg × 1m/s2
Now to change it into CGS system.
1 kg = 1000 g and, 1 m = 100 cm
Now in CGS unit, 1 N = (1000 g) × 100cm/s2
1 N = 100000 g cm/s2 = 105 dyne

- Most of the important activities of the cell occur in the cytoplasm. Cytoplasm contains molecules such as enzymes which are responsible for breaking down waste and also aid in metabolic activity.
- Cytoplasm is responsible for giving a cell its shape. It helps to fill out the cell and keeps organelles in their place. Without cytoplasm, the cell would be deflated and materials would not be able to pass easily from one organelle to another.
- Cytosol is the part of the cytoplasm that does not contain organelles. Instead, cytosol is confined by the boundaries of a matrix which fills the part of the cell that does not contain organelles.

The largest biological cell is often cited as the ostrich egg, which is about 15 cm (6 in) long and weigh about 1.4 kg (3 lb). This is a myth. There are at least several biological cells larger than an ostrich egg, despite the fact that even numerous scientists and lay people believe the ostrich egg is indeed the largest biological cell. The ostrich may actually be the heaviest cell, but this has not yet been tested.

Common salt dissolves in water i.e. its atoms occupy the spaces in the water molecules.
Salt (sodium chloride) is made from positive sodium ions bonded to negative chloride ions.
Water can dissolve salt because the positive part of water molecules attracts the negative chloride ions and the negative part of water molecules attracts the positive sodium ions.
