Protons are present in the nucleus of an atom. Neutrons are present in the nucleus of an atom.
Protons are positively charged. Neutrons are neutral.
The mass of a proton is approximately 2000 times as the mass of an electron. The mass of neutron is nearly equal to the mass of a proton.

  1. Vacuoles are just like little pockets in the cytoplasm of a cell where a cell stores food.
  2. They are found in both animal and plant cells but are much larger in plant cells. Vacuoles are mostly made of water and amino acids.
  3. They play roles in intracellular digestion and the release of cellular waste products.
  4. They also play a role in turgor pressure. When a plant is well-watered, water collects in cell vacuoles producing rigidity in the plant. When a plant does fails to get adequate amount water, pressure in the vacuole is reduced and the plant wilts.
