When the ball is thrown upward its basically moving under the acceleration of (-g) so its velocity is continuously getting reduced while according to the law of conservation of energy its KE (which is characterize by the velocity of the ball) is getting converted into PE because of gain in height.

Based on the number of cotyledons present in the seed, all flowering plants are classified into monocots and dicots. Monocots are called as monocotyledonous plants and dicots are called as dicotyledonous plants.
*Monocots exhibit fibrous root system whereas Dicots exhibit taproot system.
*Leaves in monocots show parallel venation whereas leaves in dicots show reticulated venation.
*Monocot flowers possess petals in the multiples of three whereas Dicot flowers possess petals in multiples of four or five.
*Monocots do not show any secondary growth whereas Dicots sometime exhibit secondary growth.
*Vascular bundles are scattered in the stem of monocots. Vascular bundles are arranged in a ring in the stem of dicots.

The greenhouse effect is how heat is retained by the atmosphere due to greenhouse gases whereas global warming is the increase in average annual temperatures across the globe.
The sun emits heat and light and some of that heat is trapped in the atmosphere by greenhouse gases.
The greenhouse effect occurs naturally. Lately the greenhouse effect has been magnified due to greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere by humans.
Global warming refers to the increase in annual average temperatures across the globe. As the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere increases, the planet becomes warmer and warmer on average.
Global warming is happening due to the greenhouse effect combined with increased greenhouse gas emissions by human activities.
