Lysosomes are cellular organelles that contain digestive enzymes that break down waste materials, foreign material and cellular debris. Lysosomes are capable of digesting nucleic acid, polysaccharides, fats, and proteins. Along with them lysosomes also digest or damage its own cells by its own enzymes, which lead to cell death. This process is called as autolysis. Hence lysosomes are also called as suicide bags .

Pressure is a scalar quantity. Not a vector quantity.(Mind you vector and scalar are rank-1 and rank-0 tensor, so your question about being a tensor is a meaningless one, as tensor is both vector and scalar and what not, so yes it is a tensor.)And as to why it is a scalar: It`s because you always take the force in the direction perpendicular to area, what it basically say is that you take the component of the force in the direction of area (remember the direction of area is perpendicular to the surface!) and divide it by the area.

Advantages of J.J Thomson’s model
An atom consists of positively charged sphere and the electrons are embedded in it. So mass of the atom is assumed to be uniformly distributed. The negative and positive charges are equal in magnitude. Hence, this model was able to explain the overall neutrality of an atom.
The limitations of J.J Thomson’s model of an atom are following:
(a) It could not explain the result of the scattering experiment performed by Rutherford.
(b) It did not have any experimental evidence in its support.
