According to fluid mosaic model, plasma membrane is made up of a bilayer of phospholipids. There are two types of protein molecules: Intrinsic Proteins, which completely covers the lipid bilayer and Extrinsic Proteins, which occur either on the outer surface or on the inner surface of the lipid membrane.

The fluid mosaic membrane has been described as “a number of protein icebergs floating in the sea of lipids”.

By changing the temperature we can increase the soluble property of a solute. Generally, water dissolves solutes at 20C or 100C.. Sparingly soluble solid or liquid substances can be dissolved completely by increasing the temperature. But in the case of gaseous substance, temperature inversely influences solubility i.e. as the temperature increases gases expand and escapes from their solvent.

Ritik Tevathiya 7 years, 2 months ago

Rutherford model of atoms tells us about the presence of positive charge subatomic particles in the centre of the atom Rutherford used the alpha rays , thinnest gold foil sheet and passed the alpha rays through the Gold sheet .he observed that some of the Alpha particle rays were deflected by a small angles and there were about one out of the 12000 Alpha particle is that were reflected by the angle of 180 degree so he came to know that there was some positively charged particles because of which some alpha rays were deflected by small angles .alpha rays (positively charged rays +).
