Rutherford did an experiment. In this experiment fast moving alpha(doubly charged helium ions) particles were made to fall on gold foil. OSREVATIONS OF MODEL. 1.There is a positively charged centre in an atom called nucleus. Nearly all the mass of the atom resides in its nucleus. 2.The electrons revolve around the nucleus in circular paths. 3.The size of the nucleus is comparatively very small to that the size of atom.

Tashwani Mishra 7 years, 2 months ago

Rutherford model is also called nuclear model of an atom . he gave us a nucleus of an atom. He told that the size of nucleus is very small as compared to atom. The electrons revolved around nucleus. This explain their model by an experiment pf gold foil

Akanksha Kumari? 7 years, 2 months ago

Earnest Rutherford gave the atomic model which described the presence of nucleus . He made the fast moving alpha particles pass from the gold foil and following observations were noticed: 1. Most of the alpha particles passed straight through the foil concluding that most of the space inside the atom is empty. 2. Few particles were deflected at smaller angles concluding that the positive space in an atom occupies very little space. 3. Few particles were completely bounced back concluding that the mass of the atom is concentrated in a small volume within the nucleus.

A vaccine is a type of medicine that trains the body's immune system so that it can fight a disease it has not come into contact with before . Vaccines are designed to prevent diseases ,rather than treat a disease once you have caught it . To understand how vaccine work it helps to look first at how the immune system works , because vaccine harness the natural activity of your immune system. These molecules are called antigens , and they are present on all viruses and bacteria . By injecting these antigens into the body, the immune system can safely learn to recognise them as hostile invaders , produce antibodies and remember them for the future . If the bacteria or virus reappears , the immune system will recognise the antigens immediately and attack aggresively well before the pathogens can spread and cause sickness.

Vaccines r dead or weakend suspensions of micro organisms for a particular disease. I am going to explain you with an example of Vaccine of dengue.when Microorganisms are active they cause dengue in our body, but when they are weak or dead, they are harmless. So when these dead pathogen are injected in our body in the form of vaccines, they do not cause any harm to our body but when are immune system recognise is it it starts building antibodies against it and eliminate those suspensions of microorganisms. So in this way our body is not affected by dengue and we have antibodies build against dengue. Thus there is no dangerous of getting affected by dengue .Hope that will help

Krishti Sen 5 years, 11 months ago

Vaccines are given to a person to keep away their body from disease causing microorganisms. When they are injected to our body, they get the way to spead all over the body and kill the microbes before they effext us

18km/h=5m/s......36km/h=10m/s....remember to convert things into their SI unit...not like what rubbish Krishti Sen has done...now,we know work done = increase in kinetic energy=1/2×m×v×v-1/2×m×u×u=100000-2500=97500joules answer

Krishti Sen 7 years, 2 months ago

18km/h÷36km/h=2km/h 2000kg×2km/h=4000kg÷1000=4kg

Speed of wave=frequency ×wavelength v=1000×0.5=500m/s speed=distance/time 500=500/t=1second

Akanksha Kumari? 7 years, 2 months ago

Frequency = 1000 Hz wavelength = 50 cm = 0.5 m distance = 500m Now speed of wave = frequency × wavelength V= 1000 × 0.5 = 500 m/s Speed = distance/ time 500 = 500 / t Thus t= 1 sec

krishti you have again show your foolishness over here atoms are not the smallest particles it is proton electron and neutron which is the smallest particle but now scientists are searching for more smallest particles they say that even electron proton and neutron are made of even smaller particles

Aditya Chauhan 7 years, 2 months ago

As we know that the smallest particles of the world is ATOM its size was 0.00001 nm so' we can't see it by microscope.

Palak ?? 7 years, 2 months ago

Atoms are not the smallest particles....three are more particles smaller than them..they r not visible even with the most powerful microscope because they have a very small size that is approximately 0. 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 1 m

Krishti Sen 7 years, 2 months ago

It is because atoms are the most smallest particles

Anshu Gahlawat 7 years, 2 months ago

It is not possible to see an atom even under a powerful miccroscope becaise it's size is 10^-9 m which much beyond the range of a pwerful microscope

Nucleus

Rampati Mahto 7 years, 2 months ago

I think the nucleus is the organelle that control most of the activities .Nucleus contain the genetic material called DNA that is responsible for controlling and directing all cell activities this is a very important organelles give its vital function.
