Various components presents inside a cell are known as cell organelles. For example plasma membrane, nucleus cytoplasm all are cell organelles.

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 3 months ago

Most of the important activities of the cell occur in the cytoplasm. Cytoplasm contains molecules such as enzymes which are responsible for breaking down waste and also aid in metabolic activity.
Cytoplasm is responsible for giving a cell its shape. It helps to fill out the cell and keeps organelles in their place. Without cytoplasm, the cell would be deflated and materials would not be able to pass easily from one organelle to another.
Cytosol is the part of the cytoplasm that does not contain organelles. Instead, cytosol is confined by the boundaries of a matrix which fills the part of the cell that does not contain organelles.

Bases are also electrolytes which give ions in aqueous solutions and these ions help to conduct electricity.

Eg : NaOH(aq) → Na+(aq)+OH(aq)

But better use Strong Base as it gives ions easily rather than weak base ; thus strong base conduct electricity easily than weaker base.

Action and reaction are of equal magnitude and opposite direction.

So, if they act on same body, they will cancel each other giving resultant zero.

As there is no force, there will be no motion.

Matter- Matter is anything which occupies space and has mass is called matter. Air and water, sugar and sand, hydrogen and oxygen etc. Matter is made up of very small tiny particles. Particles of matter have space between them they attract each other.

Classification- On the basis of physical properties, matter is classified as solids, liquids and gases. On the basis of chemical properties, matter is classified as elements, compounds and mixtures.

      •  Solids- Solids have strong molecular force and a definite shape and size solids can neither flow nor be compressed.

      •  Liquids- Liquids have weak intermolecular flow and large intermolecular spaces. Liquids do not have a definite shape but can flow.

      •  Gases- Gases have weak intermolecular flow, high compressibility, and no definite shape and volume.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19: Clean your hands often. Use soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub. Maintain a safe distance from anyone who is coughing or sneezing. Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth. Cover your nose and mouth with your bent elbow or a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Stay home if you feel unwell. If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention. Call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority. Avoiding unneeded visits to medical facilities allows healthcare systems to operate more effectively, therefore protecting you and other

(c) At 100ºC

  •  At 100°C, water exists in a Gaseous state.
  • We know that the boiling point of water is 100°C.
  • The water starts to evaporate after attaining this high temperature.
  • Example: When you boil water at your home after some time you observe the vapours coming out of the vessel. These vapours are the gaseous state of water.

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 3 months ago

0ºC

  •  At 0°C,  water exists in solid-state.
  • We know that the freezing point of water is 0 °C.
  • The liquid form of water starts to become solid (ice) at this temperature.
  • Example: If you keep an ice cube tray filled with water and freeze it for a few hours, you may observe the cubes where you poured water has become solid. Ice is the solid-state of water.

Gaurav Seth 4 years, 3 months ago

25 º C

  •  Water at 25°C is present in the liquid state.
  • The water which we use for our day to day activities is in the liquid state.
  • The water which we use for drinking, cooking, washing, etc all are in a liquid state.

  • The cells of plants, fungi and bacteria are surrounded by the cell wall.
  • The cell walls of fungi, plants, and bacteria allow them to take up water via osmosis when they are placed in hypotonic media or a medium that is more dilute than their internal environments.
  • The presence of cell walls outside the cell membrane allows these cells to tolerate high internal pressures.
  • Hence, when these cells are placed in hypotonic solutions they swell up but do not burst.

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 3 months ago

The outside solution is less concentrated than inside the cell. Thus water molecules move inside the cell from outside. A solution whose concentration is more than the cell sap or that inside a cell.

Isotonic solutions contain equal concentrations of impermeable solutes on either side of the membrane and so the cell neither swells nor shrinks. These fluids remain within the extracellular compartment and are distributed between intravascular (blood vessels) and interstitial (tissue) spaces, increasing intravascular volume. They are used primarily to treat fluid volume deficit.

In a moving bus, a passenger moves with the bus due to inertia of motion. As the driver applies brakes, the bus comes to rest. But, the passenger tries to maintain to inertia of motion. As a result, a forward force is exerted on him.
Similarly, the passenger tends to fall backwards when the bus accelerates from rest because when the bus accelerates, the inertia of rest of the passenger tends to oppose the forward motion of the bus. Hence, the passenger tends to fall backwards when the bus accelerates forward.

  2. Greenhouse gases are produced by the burning of fossil fuels in factories, in vehicles run by petrol or diesel car and by burning of crops
  3. Carbon dioxide is the most harmful greenhouse gas that is resulting in the warming of our planet gradually
  4. Impact of global warming results in the melting of ice caps and affecting water cycle on oceans which is basically harming the balance of our natural cycle
  5. Global warming in the future will lead to a decrease in oxygen content in oceans which can ultimately affect the aquatic life in our water bodies
  6. Proper policies should be formulated to reduce the carbon footprint of countries
  7. It is said that by the year 2030, the average temperature of the earth will increase by 2.5 degree Celsius
  8. The impact of global warming on oceans is witnessed through floods, storms, cyclones, hurricanes and other such unpredictable natural calamities
  9. The poisoning of the food we eat, the air we breathe and the water we drink is the result of man’s greed for economic growth at the cost of nature
  10. More than half of earth is covered by water and if the water bodies are slightly disturbed from its natural balance, then scientists predict that floods and tsunamis on a large scale can eliminate human civilization forever

Akshat Holland Minettee 4 years, 3 months ago

Distance 1) It refers to the actual length traveled by a body . 2) It is a scalar quantity. 3) The distance traveled by a body can be greater than or equal to the displacement. 4) The distance measured is always finite and hence it cannot be zero. Displacement 1) It refers to the shortest distance traveled by a body between it's initial and final position. 2) It is a vector quantity. 3) The displacement of a body can be smaller than or equal to the distance. 4) The displacement of a body can be zero too if its initial and final position is the same. I hope it helps you !

Cells are capable of performing multiple functions in an organism. A cell contains specific components which are called Organelles. Each organelle in the cell can perform different functions such as making new cells or clearing the waste of the cell. Thus, organelles allow a cell to perform several kinds of activities in an organism.
