It is caused by the Wuchereria bancrofti worms, Brugia malayi and Brugia timori. These worms affect the lymphatic system especially the lymph nodes. Chronic cases of lymphatic filariasis lead to the disease Elephantiasis.

Helium has two electrons in its energy shell, while argon and neon have 8 electrons in their valence shells. As these have maximum number of electrons in their valence shells, they do not have any tendency to combine with other elements. Hence, they have a valency equal to zero.

The cell is the structural and functional unit of all known living organisms. It is the smallest unit of an organism that is classified as living, and is sometimes called the building block of life. It is the unit of living things though in higher organisms cells differentiate into different types specialising in different functions. So, the entire functioning of the living organisms begins from the basic unit called cell. Hence, cell is called the fundamental unit of life.

Graphical Representation of motion has the following advantages:
1. It makes it easy to represent and interpret data in an efficient way
2. information can be compared in terms of graphical representation.Such a comparative analysis helps for quick understanding and attention.
Let us look at some important graphs on motion/
Displacement-Time Graph
In the displacement-time graph, the time is taken on X-axis and the displacement of body is taken on Y-axis. From this graph, we can determine the velocity of body. Since, velocity is the displacement per unit time therefore the slope of displacement-time graph gives the velocity.
In the velocity-time graph, time is taken on X-axis and the velocity is taken on Y-axis. Since velocity is a vector quantity, the negative velocity means that the negative velocity means that the body is moving in opposite direction from that of the positive velocity whereas in positive velocity the body is moving in a certain direction away from its initial position
In the acceleration - time graph, time is taken on X-axis and acceleration is taken on Y-axis. From this graph, we can find the change in the speed of a moving object in a certain interval of time.
So, these are the various uses of graphs in representing the various equations and states of motion. This clearly explains the importance of graphical representation of motion.

Given,
Length of the track = 200 m
Expected rounds athlete are supposed to take = 4
(a) Total distance covered by each athlete = 4 × 200 = 800 m.
(b) As the line of finish is the same as the line of start, so displacement of each athlete = 0.
(c) Motion of the athletes is non-uniform as the speed of the athlete will be changing at each point.
(d) From parts (a) and (b), the distance and displacement of an athlete are not equal at the end of the race.

Intermolecular forces are the forces that act between molecules.
-
The type of intermolecular force in a substance, will depend on the nature of the molecules.
-
There are five types of intermolecular forces: ion-dipole forces, ion-induced-dipole forces, dipole-dipole forces, dipole-induced dipole forces and induced dipole forces.

Traditionally, humans have manipulated genomes indirectly by controlling breeding and selecting offspring with desired traits. Genetic engineering involves the direct manipulation of one or more genes. Most often, a gene from another species is added to an organism's genome to give it the desired phenotype. There are three main methods of genetic engineering which are the plasmid method, the vector method, and the biolistic method. This method is the most commonly used method in genetic engineering. This method uses small circular pieces of a DNA molecule called plasmids.

Heavy water consists of deuterium instead of hydrogen . Deuterium atom consists one proton and one neutron. Hence, there are total 10 neutrons in a heavy water molecule (2 from deuterium and 8 from oxygen).
Number of heavy water molecules = 10/20 {tex}{{N}{A}}{/tex} = {tex}0.5 {{N}{A}}{/tex}
Mass of neutrons present in 0.5 mol of heavy water = {tex}10/{{N}{A}} x 5 {{N}{A}} = 5 g{/tex}

m1 = 2kg, u1 = 10m/s, v1 = 1m/s
m2 = 5kg, u2 = 0m/s, v2 = ?
we know that-
m1u1 + m2u2 = m1v1 + m2v2
(2*10) + (5*0) = (2*1) + (5v2)
20 + 0 = 2 + 5v2
18 = 5v2
18 / 5 = v2
3.6 = v2
therefore, the velocity of the second body is 3.6 m/s

The Cell Theory is one of the basic principles of biology proposed by the scientists Theodor Schwann, Matthias Schleiden, and Rudolph Virchow.
It states that
i) All living organisms are composed of cells.
ii) The cell is the basic unit of life.
Cells arise from pre-existing cells.
Yogita Ingle 4 years, 3 months ago
Mathias Schleiden and Theodor Schwann in 1838 postulated Cell Theory.
The Cell Theory states that:
- All living organisms are formed of one or more cells.
- New cells arise from pre-existing cells by cell division.
- Cell is the fundamental unit of structure and function in living organism.
