Yogita Ingle 3 years, 11 months ago

During evaporation process the particles of liquid gain energy from their surroundings in order to overcome the force of attraction between them. This causes loss of heat energy in the surroundings that is why evaporation causes cooling.

Total distance covered 10m in 40sec
Total time taken= 2min 20sec= 140sec
Total round completed = 140/40=3.5 rounds

So If an object moves from A to D, the shortest path will be from A to C. So displacement is AC, that we will find by Pythagoras theorem.
AC2= AB2 +BC
AC2= (10)2 +(10)2
AC2= 100+100
AC2=200

AC = (200)1/2

AC= 10× (2) ½

crystallisation is the (natural or artificial) process by which a solid forms, where the atoms or molecules are highly organized into a structure known as a crystal. Some of the ways by which crystals form are precipitating from a solution, freezing, or more rarely deposition directly from a gas.

Yogita Ingle 3 years, 11 months ago

Crystallisation- Crystallization is a process that separates a pure solid in the form of its crystals from a solution. This method is used to purify solid, example the salt we get from sea water can have many impurities in it. To remove these impurities, the process of crystallization is used. Crystallization technique is better than simple evaporation technique as-

• Some solids decompose or some, like sugar, may get charred during heating to dryness.
• Some impurities may remain dissolved in the solution even after filtration. On evaporation these contaminate the solid.

Step 1. Make use of the chemical formula to determine the number of atoms of each element in the compound.

Step 2. Multiply the atomic weight of each element with its number of atoms present in the compound.

Step 3. Add up all and assign unit as grams/mole.

Example. 1  What is the molar mass of sodium carbonate, Na2CO3 ?

Solution Since sodium carbonate contains two atoms sodium, one atom of carbon and three atoms of oxygen. The molecular weight would be

Na : 2 x 23.0 =  46

C : 1 x 12.0 = 12

O : 3 x 16 = 48

When we add up the total values i.e, 46 + 12 + 48 = 106

Therefore, the molar mass of Na2CO3 is 106 g/mole.

Membrane biogenesis is the process that involves cell membrane development with the aid of proteins and lipids. The production of these membranes is driven by the endoplasmic reticulum. Membranes synthesized by the membrane biogenesis process help to divide the cell into functional and structural compartments. Entire cell membranes are called endomembranes. The endomembrane network contains different membranes suspended in the cytoplasm and the plasma membrane.

Newton's second law of motion states that the force applied to the system is equal to the time rate of change of momentum.

So,    F= dP/dt

But   P=mv

So,    F= d(mv)/ dt

Or   F=m dv/dt

⟹ F=ma

When two bodies collide but there is no loss in the overall kinetic energy, it is called a perfectly elastic collision. It can be defined as: An elastic collision is an encounter between two bodies in which the total kinetic energy of the two bodies remains the same.

Examples of Elastic Collision

  • When a ball at a billiard table hits another ball, it is an example of elastic collision.
  • When you throw a ball on the ground and it bounces back to your hand, there is no net change in the kinetic energy and hence, it is an elastic collision.

Mohammad Raiyan 3 years, 11 months ago

Atom is not present in our body. Atom is a small unit of elements but like atom in our body cell is present

K Keerthana Reddy 3 years, 11 months ago

Yes. Atoms are present in our body. Any object or thing in the universe is made up of atoms. Our body is made up of cells which in turn are made up of atoms.

Character Fog Mist
Definition Fog is defined as the thick layer of cloud, that appears at the surface level, and is a composition of small droplets of water suspended in the air. Mist is defined as the layer of cloud, that is created due to the volcanic activities, changes in the level of temperature and humidity.
Density The density of fog is always thick as compared to mist. The density of mist is comparatively low as compared to Fog.
Durability Fog last for longer period. Mist last for a short time.
Visibility It is visible for less than one kilometre. It is visible between one to two kilometres.
