The types of scanner are drum, flatbed and handheld scanner. Drum scanner uses a rotating glass drum to scan and are mainly used in publishing industry to print the high quality. Flatbed scanner are the miniature looking scanners with a flip up cover protecting the glass window. Charged couple device(CCD) technology is used in these scanners. Hanndheld scanner is a small manual device which is operated by a hand. Example-barcode scanner used in shopping malls. You're welcome.
