The lost child is the story of a boy who has lost in a crowded fair. Earlier he wanted so many things from the fair like gulabjamun, burfi, garland of gulmohur etc. But his father refused him to buy these things. He wamted the toys and he started listening the sound of snake charmer. His mother dragged him. When he looked at a roundabout, he asked it for his parents. But when he turned to see his parents, he didn't find them because of crowd and got lost.

The child wanted various things from the fair. He wanted a burfi, a Garland , a ride in a roundabout, toys and many other things but kept moving forward without waiting for an answer because he knew that his parents will never buy those things for him. Then the child found it very fascinating to collect flower petals which took time and he kept lagging behind his parents. Finally, when he gets lost he realised that without parents nothing was more important. Earlier he enjoyed looking at different things being in the company with his parents. Now, when he realised that his parents were no longer with him, he loses all his interest in the things he wanted before. For him without his parents, those things meant nothing. This shows his great love for his parents
