The duck wore two pairs of worsted socks to cover his feet and to keep the cold out as the kangaroo was reluctant to carry the duck on its back because the duck's feet were cold and would probable give him the roo-martiz. The duck bought a cloak and promised that everyday he will smoke a cigar so the the kangaroo will not get any trouble. So the kangaroo agreed to the duck's proposal.

Duck
The Duck in this poem is a character who wants to hop the world so he asks the Kangaroo for the ride, he wants to get on the back of the Kangaroo and hop the world. Duck is an Aquatic animal and as in the poem it is told that he is bored in that nasty pond and he wants to go out in the world beyond and wants to feel the world and the best part is he gets the chance to do so.
Kangaroo
The Kangaroo in this poem is a character is kind, who can just hop the world very easily and he helped the Duck to hop the world. First he does the objection because the feet of the Ducks are unpleasantly wet and cold but the Duck has the solution for it, the four pairs of Worsted socks and a cloak to keep out the cold. So now the Kangaroo agrees and they hoped the whole world three times.
In this poem the bond between the Duck and the Kangaroo was too much understanding. Kangaroo had understood the desire of Duck.

Santosh Yadav needs no introduction as she is the only woman in the world who has scaled Mount Everest twice .she was born in a society where the birth of a son is regarded as a blessing and daughter are not welcome like son. Santosh was born the sixth child. she was the only sister to five brothers .her birth place was Joniyawas of Rewari district at Haryana .she was a brave girl who had courage to change established traditions .she was a person who is living life on her own terms from starting .she was completely different from others ,where the other girls wear traditional dresses Santosh preferred shorts. according to the custom Santosh had to study in the district school only. she got admission to local school but she decided to find her own way .at the age of 16 girls of her village used to marry so was with her .she was also under pressure for the same by her parents. she used her Intelligence and threatened her parents that she would not marry until she will not get proper education .she then left home and joined school in Delhi. she even did not want any money as she had an option of part time job .she got admission in the Maharani college after passing High School Examination at Jaipur and got a room in kasturaba hostel. this determined girl enrolled herself at Uttarkashi's Nehru Institute of Mountaineering .she was a person with an iron will physical endurance and amazing mental toughness .she helped inesaving a climber Mohan Singh in 1992 she was a member of Indo Nepalese women expenditure . because of her hard work she was awarded Nation's top honour padamaShri award. not only this she was a person who care about nature and other people's too .she brought about 500 kilograms of garbage from Himalayas this shows that she was an inspiration for many people
