3/25, Nelson Manickam Lane Nungambakkam Chennai – 600029 7/9/2021 Dearest Lilly, Life has been totally different throughout the summer. It almost feels like living in an alternate world. I get good sleep and literally do not have to wake up to finish the morning chores. Everything is kept ready, and I am allowed to eat whatever I want whenever I want to. The place I am staying is incredible. It is by a beach, and I enjoy watching the sunset everyday. The climate is moderate and the surrounding is calm. Every day, I get a two-wheeler on which I can go around the place. I visit villages and make acquaintances. The people here are really nice and hospitable. I will be here for two more weeks, and I hope they go on as great as the past few weeks have been. My time here has been exceptionally peaceful and pleasant, and I have been thinking about making this happen every summer. I would love it if you could join me next summer. Tuesday, 23 April-2019 9:30pm Dear Diary My this weekend was full of fun and editing. I enjoyed a lot this weekend. Today we went to my granny's house. at morning. She had made delicious. dishes for me and my parents. I played with my cousin a bet. Then at 1:00p.m. we shent for a lunch at an Indian food restaurant. I ate lots of delicious food over there. Then at about 2 o'clock we went for a movie. Its name was Hoana the Jungle book. It was so interesting. I also ate popcorn and icecream over there. Then we went to the local fair at about 5:30 pm.. I bought some toys, accessories and snacks over there. I also enjoyed many rides in the fall. Then we came home at 9:00pm. Yoday It was too much fun. I injoyed a lat Shreya.

A Surprise Birthday Party January 17, 2021 Susan’s drawing room Dear Diary, Last week I had the best birthday surprise of my life. My mother had told me that since it was lockdown we would not go out anywhere so basically we would spend this birthday at home. But it wasn’t the case. I woke up on my birthday and saw the whole house decorated. Dad said that this was so that I felt happy at home. I had my breakfast and was playing with my gifts which my parents had bought me when I heard the doorbell. Mum told me to go and get ready as some relatives had come to wish me. I went into my room to change and when I came into the living room I found all my friends were waiting. I was so delighted to see each of them. It was the surprise of my life. Everyone had even brought me gifts which were kept on the table. After that we cut the cake and everyone sang “Happy Birthday” for me. This was followed by lunch and some lovely snacks which mum had prepared. I will be writing back soon to keep you updated on some of the wonderful gifts I have received. Till then bye. Susan
