Childhood is the age of being fascinated and attracted by almost everything. One wants to buy everything one sees. At the fair the child was also attracted towards various things. There were shops and stalls selling innumerable things. Sweetmeat seller selling delicious sweets, flowers seller was selling fragrant flowers, balloon seller selling colorful balloons, and there were many rides and swings available, and many more attractions were available that attracted his attention.
As one grows old, one realizes one can’t afford all the things. Thus with the passage of time one learns to control one’s desires.

Kezia was a sweet little girl. Like other girls, she was also in awe of her father. She would feel nervous in his presence as he was very harsh towards her. When she tried to go to the drawing room to talk to her parents, her father was always irritated by her presence and he used to call her little brown owl.
Once, when she decided to gift her father a gift of pin cushion, her attempt to make her father happy turned out to be very bad for her.
She wondered about her neighbour, Mr. McDonald, who was very loving.
But when once her mother and grandmother were not at home and she was left alone with the cook, she had a nightmare. She was shocked to see her father near her bed. He tucked her up in his bed and made her comfortable with him and fell asleep. She felt the beating of her father's large heart. She realized that her father was also very loving but as he worked hard everyday, he used to get tired.

Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world”, a famous quote by the great Jean Luc Godard. He was one of the most important film directors during La Nouvelle Vague, a movement in French cinema in the 1950s and 60s, which was the visual representation of the 30 so-called “glorious” post war years, but also of student riots, the Algerian War, and Women’s liberation. Cinema is a mirror of its time. And all around the world, cinema was used then as a media to provide a testimony of an epoch.

Nana was the narrator’s family donkey. Toto troubled Nana by clinging on to its long ears with his sharp teeth. He did so on the very first night that he shared the stable with the donkey. No doubt, Toto was mischievous. He kept creating problems not only for animals but for the members of the family also. When Grandfather visited the stable he found Toto fastened on to Nana’s long ears with his sharp little teeth. They could never become friends.

A thief, who had broken the wall of the merchant’s house was killed due to wall of the merchant’s house collapsing on his head. So, the king ordered that the merchant should be punished for the thief’s death. This was a foolish judgement. Once, who is a victim, should get judgement not punishment.

The Prince told the swallow that a little match girl was standing and crying in the square below. Her matches had fallen in the gutter and were all spoiled. Her father would beat her if she failed to take home some money. So the prince asked the swallow to pluck out his other eye and give it to that girl.
