Behrnan was 60 years old printer. He had a lifelong dream to paint a Masterpiece but he could not succeed in this regard. He load on the ground floor in the same building where sue and Johnsi lived .
When Sue informed him about Johnsy's condition. He visited Johnsy . Johnsy was sleeping at that time. He noticed the only leaf on the creeper. He did not say anything and went to the room. He was a kind person. He painted the leaf in the Icy cold night. It was raining heavily and his cloth and shoes got wet. He was shivering with cold that night and sacrificed his life to save Johnsy's life.

The Characteristics of Happy Prince are as follows :
• Happy Prince was a statue.
• He had a Ruby on his sword .
• His body was covered with gold .
• His eyes were made up of sapphires.
• He stood very high .
• So , he saw ugliness and misery of the whole Town.
• His heart was made of lead . Yet it melted sight of so much misery .
• He give away is everything to poor person.
• By these he brought some joy in their lives.
• The Prince was affectionate.
• He could not stand death of his dear little swallow .
• His leaden heart broke into two pieces on this occasion.

Behrman's Masterpiece was a single Ivy leave that was painted on the brick wall. Behrman's masterpiece was the picture of the leaves he drew. Sue saidso because it was so real and was soconvincing to Johnsy that it was a real leaf, that it saved Johnsy's life.
