Yes, I agree that school of today are better than the school in the chapter 'The Fun They Had', 'cause the students had fun with their friends in today's schools. All children came to a particular building and meet their friends and teachers everyday at the morning. They spend time with their friends in free time. They study together. They help each other at different tasks. They share and help each other in doing homework..teachers along with study share their life experiences and help students in resolving queries whereas mechanical teachers gave them a lot of homeworks to do and they didn't understand the feelings of students.

Yes, "The fun they had"is a futuristic story as the author says that Tommy found a real book means that they don't have books at that time. As we read the chapter further ,we came to know that that the children studies from a mechanical teacher that's a black screen computer which is a digital computer. The words moves by themselves. They don't go to school too. Hope it helps you!!??

The Lost Child’ is one of the famous stories of Mulk Raj Anand. This story shows the working of child’s mind. It shows that a child hasreat love for his parents. In this story, a child goes to see the village fair in the company of his father and mother. He is attracted by different things in the fair. He asks his parents s again and again to buy him something or the other. But they don’t buy anything for him. By chance, the child gets separated from his parents. He starts He runs here and there shouting for his parents. A kind man sees him. He tries to console the child. He takes him to different shops. But the child goes on weeping. Now he has lost interest in everything. He only cries, “I want my mother, I want my father!”
