The wind can easily break window panes when it blows strongly.  The books from shelf fell down and wind tears apart the pages. It feels like wind enjoys its power and laughs at weaker things.  Doors, woods and even hearts are not safe from its strength. Wind is strong enough to detoriate them all. The summary of the poem is wind is dominant only on weaker things. It cannot harm stronger objects. In our daily lives we can take example from it that if we are strong, our enemies cannot destroy us.

Wind Summary – As the name suggests this poem is about wind. However, the wind is a natural phenomenon. And in the poem, the poet describes the power of the wind and calls wind destructive. Further, he links the destructive power of the wind with the difficulties of life. He says that weak people breakdown easily, but stronger people emerge out stronger. Also, the poem gives a very important lesson that we should be mentally tough and physically strong in order to survive the hardships of life. However, a weak person crumbles and breakdown like an old building. So it is necessary that we should make these destructive forces our friends with our determination and strength.

His painting proves a masterpiece. Even Johnsy who is herself an artist, can't know that it is not a real leaf.

The answer to this question depends on whom we ask. We might think that as individuals living in apartments or houses and access to basic necessities we are living on a safe and a dependable planet. However, if we look at global warming, diminishing habitats, depleting resources, deforestation, it is hard to believe that human activities have led us to a point where we are sceptical of the life on Earth after the next few decades.

The usage of dangerous gasses like co2, Hydrocarbon, Sulphur oxide is causing the ozone layer to break up This causes the ultra violet rays of the sun enter the earth’s atmosphere and risks humans to be affected by cancer.

Due to weather change and the water level increase some of the islands like Maldives, Cook islands and the city Venice will soon disappear.

If the water level increases a lot big cities like New York, Kolkata, Manhattan, Sydney, and all the coastal cities will be in danger.

If we set our minds to making the planet worth living for the future generations, our generation has a unique opportunity. Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can be achievable if we start a human-induced environmental change that will lead to a fundamental shift that necessitates a new economic model. Poverty will be halved, more diseases will be eradicated, global population will stabilize, and even the ozone layer will show signs of recovery.

We must come together and commit to cut greenhouse-gas emissions and transform the global energy system thereby making the planet sustainable and liveable for generations to come.
