After the bag was shut and strapped by Jerome, the narrator, Harris asked him if he had packed the boots in. Jerome hadn't packed the boots and became frustrated as he had done packing and had to reopen the bag and redo the packing to pack the boots in.
Harris waited till then to ask because he wanted to irritate Jerome and laugh at his frustration.

Yes, the child's behaviour was normal. The story very clearly depicts the behaviour of a young child who is attracted by everything he sees around him. The child is not only attracted to toys and sweets but also fascinated by the natural wonders of the world like dragonflies, pigeons, flowers and snakes.

In the lesson Rain on the Roof, the poet expresses two feelings of sorrow and happiness when he talks about the rain due to the following reasons,
- Firstly he expresses happiness because this rain reminds him of his childhood. When he was young boy his mother would tuck him in bed and he recalled that nostalgia because of this rain. That is a pleasant memory, one which is very dear to him, which is why he feels happy.
-He also expresses his sorrow when he speaks about the rain because this rain reminds him of his mother who has passed away. She is no more. This makes the poet sad, as this rain is a constant reminder of that.
