Even snakes must not be attacked because they do not bite unless they sense a danger to their life. Moreover, there are certain varieties of snakes that are not poisonous and are hence harmless.

Wednesday, 23rd November, 2020 9 pm Shimla has always been a place I wanted to visit. I thought of it as a lovely hill station with magnificent scenery and tall peaks. While I knew that Shimla experiences snowfall every winter, I was not really hoping to see it during my visit in November. We were just walking leisurely enjoying the lovely scenery, when snow started falling from the sky. Suddenly everything was covered in a white blanket. The experience seemed surrealistic to me. My brother and I made the most of it in. We made snowballs and started throwing them at each other. Watching the snow falling from the skies and playing in it was simply the highlight of our trip. I am sure it is a memory that will remain etched in my mind forever. Anushka

The title,” on KILLING A tree’’ indicates the ironical fate of a tree .A tree is a generous helper. But man’s selfish greed annihilates it. As a simple jab or chopping cannot kill a tree, cruel man uses a number of cruel methods to kill a tree. So a tree is uprooted and snapped out of earth .then it is exposed to sunlight for drying. It passes through the process of scorching, choking, browning, hardening and twisting. The act of killing becomes complete when the tree becomes completely withered. The poet treats trees as sensitive living organisms. He adds human qualities to them to highlight their struggle for existence. Hence both from thematic and symbolical point of view the title is significance and justified.

I hurry outside my house to see that people had gathered around something . I ran towards the crowd of men and pushed my way through to see that there was a small puppy who was badly hurt after being hit by a car . I was shocked to see that nobody was helping the puppy and were chatting about how the driver should drive properly while blood was oozing out his leg and he was in pain . I quickly went inside my house brought the first aid box and quickly dressed his leg . After that I picked him up in my lap and got on a taxi and went to the nearest pet clinic .Alas , the one near my house was closed as it was Sunday . I couldn't stand seeing the puppy in pain and went to my friend ' s house and got a bicycle start riding on it with my friend who was willing to help me. He held the puppy while I rode the bicycle and went to the next country to look for vets . After skimming through six countries we finally came across a vet clinic where I admitted the puppy. The doctor checked him , gave him some medicine and also bandaged his leg and said his fees would be $ 200 but I had no money . But as a blessing you may call it another owner of a dog payed for the expenses . I couldn't stop thanking him and went back home happily with the puppy . I went back into the living room and this is what I saw on T.V ..... Thank you !!
