Drug is not a key to all problems

Ritu was going to school suddenly a truck veered off with a screeching sound. It seemed Someone has awakened her with a jolt. People at the street had been shouting out at her, but she was unable to decipher the words, she could only the a crazy noise.

Someone pulled her off the street, as she was moving senselessly. The truck driver was screaming at her on the top of his voice. "What might have happened to her?", "Was she insane?" - people were puzzled multiple questions on their mind. Finally, the person who came to her rescue, her dad, took her back to home. Soon he took Ritu for counselling.

Ritu was a studious girl who scored good marks. She had big dreams like any other teenager. But lately, a family turmoil had weakened her so much that her performance in studies deteriorated and gradually she began loosing confidence and failed in every field of her life. She came under bad company and was influenced to take drugs. He fellows suggested her that she was facing  very hard time and only drugs could heal her pain. Eventually she became a drug addict. There was no one at home to check her newly adopted bad habit as her parents had undergone separation recently and that was the major cause of her downfall. She was feeling lonely and broken.

Many people have problems in their family. For them, drug abuse seems to be an easy escape from the stress caused due to those problems. Youngsters, particularly try to tackle their relationship problems by way of drug abuse. Besides, the feeling of loneliness or emptiness can also force a person to turn to drugs.

Drug abuse refers to obsessive and excessive use of drugs. It impacts a person’s mental as well as physical health mainly causing damage to the brain. Drugs are initially taken by choice owing to different reasons. However, gradually it becomes difficult to resist them.

Drug Abuse is a common problem these days. Though hard to resist, the usage of drugs can be controlled with proper medication and guidance. Besides, the family also needs to be the cornerstone of the victim and shed immense love, care and support. A major problem in a well-knit family can lead to disastrous results not only for adults but also for the children as well.

Ans. When Gulliver woke up from his sleep, he could not get up and realised that his arms and legs were fastened to each side of the ground. His hair, which was thick and long was also tied down in the same manner. As he was lying down, he could only look upwards and the sun shone bright on his eyes.

He could sense something moving on his left leg and felt that it was advancing towards his breast and coming almost up to his chin. When he tried to get a view of this living creature he found it to be human creature not six inches high, carrying a bow and arrow in his hand and a quiver on his back.

Gulliver realised that there was not just one, but almost forty similar creatures. At the sound of Gulliver's roar, they all ran back in fright and some of them were hurt with the falls they got by leaping from the sides onto the ground. This was the initial outlook that Gulliver had when he opened his eyes.

There is nothing serious about the pattern. Be confident and ask answers if you have any queries. Remember cce has gone so you need to focus more on your studies rather than wasting your time. Visit official website of cbse for details of the pattern. Here I will explain you in brief.

There will be 4 exams amongst which 3 will be conducted by the school and the last one will be board exam. You have to score the minimum percentage to get pass. Also, the activities not book maintenance and regularity will come under internal assessment which will carry 10 marks. The school examinations will also carry 10 marks.

School assessment : 20 marks

Board assessment : 80 marks.

Hope it helps!

Good luck!
