Vaishya was the third division in the Early and Later Vedic age where Aryans were settled in the banks of river Ganga. They divided themselves into 4 divisions:- 1.Kshatriyas:- to protect the kingdom from enemies and public from discrimination and give punishment to the people found guilty. 2.Brahmins:-to do offerings to God and do start any good work by appreciating the God.(Ex-To do someone's marriage,to do puja,etc..) 3.Vaishya:-To do business or to provide basic needs to people. 4.Shudra:-To take care of the above three castes like cutting their hair's or to make their slippers,etc..
