There are many differences in Indian farming and US farming methods.

1. India is basically an agriculture-based country with 80% of its population in rural areas, whereas in the US, only a small number of people are involved in farming.

2. The average farm holdings in the India are of small sizes (2-3 hectares), whereas in the US, the farm holdings are large (250 hectares).

3. Most of the Indian farmers are uneducated or receive basic education in the village schools, whereas in the US, the farmers are mostly well educated and keep themselves updated with the latest developments in the agriculture field.

4. Indian farming is labor intensive and traditional methods of farming like plowing is used, whereas, in the US, heavy and advanced machinery is used for farming which is capital intensive.

5. Indian farming is weather dependent and farmers grow only 2-3 crops per year. In the US, the farmers use scientific techniques like soil testing etc. and grow multiple crops throughout the year.

6. The US farmlands give bigger returns to the farmer when compared to the Indian farmlands.

The Indian nawabs, rajas and princes were shot-sighted. After the weakening of Mughal Empire, the newly emerged independent states wanted to extend their borders. At that time Bharat was divided into very small states after the Mughal Empire's collapse. The nawabs and rajas were involved with each other in constant conflicts. They took the help of the foreign trading companies(i.e. French, Dutch, Portuguese and British) as they used to trade modern weapons to India from West. In turn to help the states win, they demanded to trade without taxes and control over some jagirs of their empire. Slowly they became more powerful and suppressed the rulers who helped them. After some wars with other traders like French, Dutch etc., they won over them too and thus till 1857, they took control over the entire BHARAT.

This right ensures that every person, despite of his religion, caste, gender, race, ***, background etc. would be treated equally. If a person thinks that his/her fundamental rights have been violated by the state, he/she may approach the court. This is 'Right to Equality'.

Shifting cultivation was a method of cultivation used by the tribals in the nineteenth century. It was done on small patches of land, mostly in forests. The cultivators cut the treetops so that the sunlight could reach the ground. They then burnt the vegetation on the land to clear it for cultivation. They spread the ash produced from the firing as it contained potash which was used to fertilise the soil. They used the axe to cut trees and the hoe to scratch the soil in order to prepare it for cultivation. They scattered the seeds instead of ploughing the field and sowing the seeds. Once the crop was ready and harvested, they moves to another field to do the same process again. A field that had been cultivated once was left fallow for several years. This is shifting cultivation.
