A democratic country needs a Constitution, because the Constitution serves several purposes. First, it lays out certain ideals that form the basis of the kind of country that we as citizens aspire or live in. Or, put another way, a Constitution tells us what the fundamental nature of our society is. A country is usually made up of different communities of people who share certain beliefs but may not necessarily agree on all issues. A Constitution help serve as a set of rules and principles that all persons in a country can agree upon as the basis of the way in which they want the country to be governed. This includes not only, the type of government but also an agreement on certain ideals that they all believe the country should uphold.

The Preamble has much Constitutional significance. These are
- The Preamble outlines the basic character of the State and represents the essence, the philosophy and the ideals of the entire Constitution of India. Over a period of time, many amendments have been made to the Constitution, but the basic features cannot be altered.
- The Preamble consists of five basic features of the Constitution - Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic. This reminds people of the four ideals of the State, i.e. India should secure to all its citizens Justice, Liberty, Equality and Fraternity.
- In order to interpret the articles, it is necessary to refer often to the Preamble which should form the basis for interpretation. This is because disputes and ambiguities are to be resolved in a written Constitution.
- The Preamble is not justifiable, i.e. its provisions cannot be enforced through a court of law. However, it gives proper direction to achieve a common goal to the government of a country.

Primary sources are firsthand, contemporary accounts of events created by individuals during that period of time or several years later (such as correspondence, diaries, memoirs and personal histories). These original records can be found in several media such as print, artwork, and audio and visual recording. Examples of primary sources include manuscripts, newspapers, speeches, cartoons, photographs, video, and artifacts. Primary sources can be described as those sources that are closest to the origin of the information. They contain raw information and thus, must be interpreted by researchers.
Secondary sources are closely related to primary sources and often interpret them. These sources are documents that relate to information that originated elsewhere. Secondary sources often use generalizations, analysis, interpretation, and synthesis of primary sources. Examples of secondary sources include textbooks, articles, and reference books.

Human being is considered to be the most important resource for development because humans are the only one who had such a great brain which make them know how to utilise the god gifted resources so without humans the resources are just a waste.
They are only one who have enough technology and skills to use the nature.
