A wave is the constant rising and falling of water caused by winds blowing across the oceans.
Tsunami is a series of huge, destructive waves, caused by underwater earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and underwater landslides.
The factors affecting the height of waves are:
The wind speed must be blowing faster than the transfer of energy from wave crest to wave crest.
The amount of time the wind blows, or wind duration.
The fetch, the uninterrupted distance over the sea for which the wind blows without a change in direction.

Shifting cultivation is a form of agriculture which involves clearing of a plot of land by cutting of trees and burning them. The ashes are then mixed with the soil and crops are grown. After the land has lost its fertility, it is abandoned. The farmers then move to a new place.
Disadvantages:
Leads to deforestation
Loss of fertility of a particular land
Leads to Soil erosion
Burning of trees – air pollution
Insufficient cultivation of crops for a large population.

Visakhapatnam steel plant is located near a port. It is also called the Vizag steel plant. It is situated in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It is an integrated steel plant which was set up in 1971 based on German technology. It was conferred to Navratna status in 2010.

The British itself fully ruined India and took out some policies like doctrine of lapse,payment of revenue in cash,dual government and many others took everything and their policy that they should get everything maximum at cheapest rates or prices possible i think this is the way how the British siphon off the wealth of India.

The functions and powers of the tribal chiefs changed considerably under the British rule. They lost much of their administrative power. They were forced to follow the laws made by the British. They had to pay tribute to the British. They were expected to discipline their people on behalf of the British government. However, they were allowed to keep their land titles over a cluster of villages and could rent out lands. Thus, the authority of the tribal chiefs significantly reduced under the colonial rule.

The shifting cultivators were forced to take up settled cultivation. But type of land and shortage of water meant they could not produce enough. Many of them had to move on to other areas in search of work when access to the forest was restricted.
