Hi there,
The water supply system in my area is very efficient. Underground pipes starting from the taps join on a bigger pipe underground that are connected to a water reservoir. Water travels through that pipe to the houses effectively. The geyser helps the water to be warm whenever it is required.
I hope the answer helped.
Thanks
