What is ******???

Shreya Jha 3 years, 10 months ago

Firstly the male's produced sperm enters the female body and tries to enter into the egg produced by the female reproductive parts , the egg is also called ova , when the sperms enters into the female body through ****** then these few sperms try to fuse with the egg (ova) . The unhealthy sperms dies and the healthy sperm gets fused with the egg .these sperms have 23 chromosomes in it , which carries the DNA ,which decides the sexual characteristics of the baby . sometimes not only 1 sperm gets fused with the egg instead 2 or 3 sperms fuse with the egg ,So twins or triplets are born in such cases . the fertilisation of egg and sperms take place in fallopian tube and then a single cell zygote is formed . then this cell keeps on dividing and after sometime a foetus is formed (developed baby structure ) inside the uterus of female and its comes out through ****** at the time of birth . hope this helps!!!!

Meghna Thapar 3 years, 10 months ago

The female reproductive system is designed to carry out several functions. It produces the female egg cells necessary for reproduction, called the ova or oocytes. The system is designed to transport the ova to the site of fertilization. During ***, sperm cells travel through the ****** to the uterus and fallopian tubes. In the fallopian tube, the sperm meets the egg that was released from the ovary during ovulation.

A fraction represents a part of a whole or, more generally, any number of equal parts

Gaurav Seth 3 years, 10 months ago

A fraction is a word that is originated from Latin. In Latin, “Fractus” means “broken”. In real life, when we cut a piece of cake from the whole of it, say 1/4th of it, then the portion is the fraction of the cake.

Fractions are defined as the parts of a whole. The whole can be a number or any specific value or a thing. In other words, it is also termed as a portion or section of any quantity. It is denoted by using ‘/’ symbol, such as a/b. For example, in 2/4 is a fraction where the upper part denotes the numerator and lower part is the denominator.

When any object vibrates, then sound is produced through that object and that sound travels through any medium (solid, liquid or gas). Sound travels fastest in solid. The main thing is that sound travels through any medium or sound needs a medium to travel.

Himani Choudhary 3 years, 10 months ago

It needs a medium to travelb, it may be a solid liquid or gas.

Shreya Jha 3 years, 10 months ago

Sound waves need to travel through a medium such as a solid, liquid, or gas. The sound travels in form of waves through either of these medium that is solid, liquid or gas. it happens as the sound waves move through each of these mediums by vibrating the molecules in the matter or we can say that sound waves hits the particles of matter that is solid, liquid or gas and causes vibrations , thus it gets transferred from one place to another and sound travels fastest in solids as the solid matter particles are closest to each other as compared to liquid and gases.

Meghna Thapar 3 years, 10 months ago

Sound waves travel at 343 m/s through the air and faster through liquids and solids. The waves transfer energy from the source of the sound, e.g. a drum, to its surroundings. Your ear detects sound waves when vibrating air particles cause your ear drum to vibrate. Sound vibrations travel in a wave pattern, and we call these vibrations sound waves. Sound waves move by vibrating objects and these objects vibrate other surrounding objects, carrying the sound along. ... Sound can move through the air, water, or solids, as long as there are particles to bounce off of.

The cyclic process of nitrogen fixed, and used by plants & animals & later returned to the atmosphere, is referred as nitrogen cycle.

Yogita Ingle 3 years, 10 months ago

Nitrogen cycle is all about the movement of nitrogen between various elements on Earth (like air, soil, living organisms etc.) The amount of nitrogen in the atmosphere remains constant.

  • Atmosphere has approx. 78% nitrogen.
  • Atmospheric Nitrogen is fixed into the soil
    • N2 fixing microbes convert atm. N2 into nitrogen compounds like NH3
  • Plants utilize nitrogen from soil through their roots
  • Animals utilize nitrogen, feeding on plants
  • When Plants & animals die, Nitrogenous wastes are returned to soil
    • Decomposers convert some part to nitrogen compounds to be used by plants
    • Denitrifying bacteria convert into atm. N2

In agriculture, ploughing, levelling, and manuring are the three steps of soil preparation. Ploughing includes loosening and digging of soil. During ploughing, the soil becomes loose and the nutrients in deep soil come to the top

Ploughing - Ploughing includes loosening and digging of soil. During ploughing, the soil becomes loose and the nutrients in deep soil come to the top. Also, aeration of soil will increase thus air is available for breathing and roots are easily penetrated between soil. Other purposes of ploughing are the integration of manure, uprooting of weeds, removal of infectious pathogens, insects etc. Ploughs of wood or iron are used for this purpose. Bullocks or tractors are used to pull this plough. Hoe is another tool used to uproot weeds and to loose soil. Levelling - Levelling helps in even distribution and soil is levelled after ploughing. A plank of wood or iron is used for this. Levelling also helps in water distribution without logging during irrigation. Manuring - After ploughing and levelling, manure is applied to further stages of farming. Manuring is done to replenish the soil with nutrients and thus helps in proper growth of the crop. Soil preparation gives agriculture field which is fertile containing ideal soil and makes it ready for farming. Manuring and removal of weeds at a regular interval and frequency help farmers to yield a better product.

Carbon dioxide is used in fire extinguishers as being heavier than oxygen it surrounds the burning combustible substance like a blanket. Carbon dioxide is heavier than oxygen, covers the fire like a blanket. Since the contact between the fuel and oxygen is cut off, the fire is controlled. The added advantage of CO2 is that in most cases it does not harm the electrical equipment.

Metals react with acids to produce hydrogen gas. If a matchstick is brought near the mouth of the tube containing the product of the reaction then we hear a pop sound. It is this hydrogen gas that burns with a pop sound.

  • For instance, Magnesium reacts with dilute hydrochloric acid to form magnesium chloride and hydrogen.

  • Copper does not react with hydrochloric acid but reacts with sulphuric acid.

When there is more than one force acting upon the same body. The different forces is altogether replaced by a single force. This force is called resultant force.

The formula of resultant force is F∨R = F∨1 + F∨2 + F∨3
If the force F∨2 is perpendicular to the force F∨1 then the formula is
F∨R = F∨1 + F∨3 - F∨2

EXAMPLE --
If three forces 60N , 45N and 30N are acting on a body simultaneously. 30N is opposite to the direction of other two. Calculate the resultant force.

SOLUTION --
As per the formula we will place the quantities.

(60N + 45N) - 30N
105N - 30N
= 75N

Hence, the resultant force for the question asked is 75N.
