Iris- It is the part of the eye which controls the amount of light entering the eye and also gives a distinctive colour to the eye. Pupil- The light enters our eye through the pupil, it is controlled by iris. Cornea- The transparent part of our eyes. Lens- The eye contains convex lens that helps us to focus on an object. Retina- The image of an object is formed on the retina, it contains some sensory cells at the junction of optic nerve. i) Cones: they sense bright colours. ii) Rods:they sense dim light. Optic nerve- it recieves the image from retina and sends it to the brain, the brain then tells us that what the object is.
