(ii)The metal to be electroplated is made the cathode, while the anode is the other metal which has to be deposited on this metal. After passing electric current through the electrolyte, the metal from the anode is deposited on the cathode. It may be defined as copper plating or silver plating etc on the basis of metal which is used for plating of other metal.
(iii) It is most commonly used for protection of reactive metal surface from reaction of atmosphere.
Electrorefining:
(i) The process of refining a metal in an electrolytic cell is known as electrorefining.
(ii) Purified metal strip is used as cathode. Impure metal rod is used as anode. On passing current through the electrolyte, the impure metal from the anode is deposited on the cathode.

Both the plant and the animal cells contain the membrane-bound organelles like the nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, Golgi apparatus, peroxisomes, lysosomes. They also have similar membranes such as cytosol, and the cytoskeletal elements. The function of all these organelles is said to be extremely similar lying between two classes of cells. However, few differences do exist between them which are very much significant, reflecting the difference in the function of each cell.
The plant cell can also be larger than the animal cell. The normal range of the animal cell varies from about 10 – 30 micrometers and that of plant cell range between 10 – 100 micrometers. Beyond the size, the main differences between the structures of plants and animal cells lie in some additional features that are found in the plant cells.

The celestial objects appear to move across the sky from east to west because the earth is moving about its axis from west to east. It takes nearly 24 hours for the earth to complete one revolution about its axis from west to east, but to us it appears that our earth is stationary and the various objects in space are moving from east to west.
