Actually there are so many methods to do irrigation such as Moat (pulley system),Chain pymp,Dhekli,Rahat (lever system).These were the traditional ways.Now the modern ways are usually used such as the Sprinkler system and the Drip system.If you are living in an area where water table is low so you should use the Drip system because it saves water and also delivers water directly to the roots of the plant.
