Atoms are the smallest unit of matter in living or non-living things, but the sub-atomic particles (protons, neutrons, and electrons) are even smaller. Comparing the size difference between an atom and a cell is so vast that it is inconceivable to a human being.

- Mass can never be zero. What we mean by this is that everything in the universe has mass. If it didn't it simply wouldn't exist
- Mass is not related to gravity, centrifugal force, etc and these forces have no effect whatsoever on your mass
- Mass is commonly measured in kilograms and grams.

Deforestation leads to decline in the number of plants and increase in the concentration of carbon dioxide. The incresed level of carbon dioxide leads to trapping of heat, hence, global warming. The high temperature disrupts the natural water cycle and leads to reduction in rainfall.
