Static frictional force is a self-regulating force. i.e., static friction will at all times be equivalent and opposite to the force applied. The maximum force of static friction is not dependent on the area of contact. The maximum force of static friction is comparative to the normal force i.e., if the normal force increases, the maximum external force that the object can endure without moving, also increases.

Red data book helps in identifying all animals, birds and other species, about their extinct and endangered species. It is used to evaluate the total wild animals’ population present. The data available in this book can be used to evaluate the taxa at the global level. With the help of this book, we can estimate the risk of taxa becoming globally extinct. The red book has the complete information about all endangered animals, plants and other species.

Grassland vegetation can vary in height from very short, as in chalk grasslands to quite tall, as in the case of America, they're called pampas. Central Eurasian grasslands are referred to as steppes, while in Africa they're named savannas.Temperate grasslands are found where the summers are hot, the winters cold, and rainfall is low throughout the year. Tropical grasslands grow where temperaturesniether high nor very low.

A luminous body can serve as a source of light. A luminous body is an object that shines by its own light. The sun is our chief source of light. It is naturally luminous. Fire, too, is luminous. A bonfire and a candle flame are luminous objects. Among other luminous objects are stars, fireflies, oil lamps, flashlights, electric lamps, and street lights.
A non-luminous body cannot serve as a source of light. A non-luminous body is an object that does not shines by its own light. It needs a luminous body in its surrounding whose light it can reflect and become visible. Examples of non-luminous objects are Trees, Books, Wall's etc.

Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other. There are several types of friction: static friction, sliding friction and rolling friction.
Sliding friction is less than static friction because static friction comes into play when the object is slided or moved over a surface by applying force. The applied force lessens the friction and object slides. Thus sliding friction is lesser than static friction.

Electrolysis is the process by which ionic substances are decomposed into simpler substances when an electric current is passed through them.
Ionic compounds contain charged particles called ions. For example, Sodium Chloride contains positively charged Sodium ions and negatively charged Chlorine ions. The ions must be free to move in order to start the electrolysis process. When an ionic substance is dissolved in water or melted then the ions are free to move. During electrolysis, positively charged ions move to the negative electrode and negatively charged ions move to the positive electrode. Then positively charged ions receive electrons and negatively charged ions lose electrons. Both the products of the dissociation get collected at the electrodes.

Nitrogen Cycle : Nitrogen is one of the most essential constituent of living beings. This is because nitrogen is part of chlorophyll, nucleic acids and vitamins. Plants and animals cannot directly consume the nitrogen present in the atmosphere. This work is done by the algae and bacteria . They fix the atmospheric nitrogen and converts it into nitrite and nitrate. The roots of the plants consume these nitrites and nitrates from the soil. The nitrogen is used to synthesis amino acid, proteins, etc. in the plants. This in turn is consumed by animals feeding on these plants. The dead bodies of these animals are worked upon by the bacteria and fungi present in soil and lead to their decomposition. They convert the compounds of nitrogen back into nitrates and nitrites. These are further converted into nitrogen gas and released in atmosphere by certain specialized bacteria thus balancing the percentage of nitrogen in atmosphere.

Humans are complex organisms made up of trillions of cells, each with their own structure and function. Scientists have come a long way in estimating the number of cells in the average human body. There are about 100 trillion cells that make up the human body. Adult humans have roughly 20–30 trillion red blood cells at any given time, constituting approximately 70% of all cells by number. Women have about 4–5 million red blood cells per microliter (cubic millimeter) of blood and men about 5–6 million; people living at high altitudes with low oxygen tension will have more.
