Newton’s first law of motion states that a body at rest will remain at rest, and a body in motion will continue in motion in a straight line with a uniform speed, unless it is compelled by an external force to change its state of rest or of uniform motion.

The second law of motion states that the rate of change of momentum of an object is proportional to the applied unbalanced force in the direction of force.

The third law of motion states that when one object exerts a force on another object, the second object instantaneously exerts a force back on the first. These two forces are always equal in magnitude but opposite in direction. The two opposing forces are also known as action and reaction forces.

Ribosomes are the cell organelles found inside the cell and composed of RNA and Proteins. They may found suspended in the cytosol, called free ribosomes or bound to the endoplasmic reticulum, called bound ribosomes. They help in protein synthesis.

Ribosomes and protein synthesis function:
Ribosomes are typically composed of two subunits, a large subunit and a small subunit. These two subunits join together when the ribosome attaches to messenger RNA (mRNA) during protein synthesis. Ribosomes along with another RNA molecule, transfer RNA (tRNA), help to translate the protein-coding genes in mRNA into proteins.

The force between two charged bodies is called electrostatic force. It is a non contact force. The electrostatic force can be attractive or repulsive.

Nisha Bhujade 7 years, 2 months ago

The force exerted by charge body on another charged or uncharged body is known as.........

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 2 months ago

Electrostatic force is the force exerted by a charged body on another charged or uncharged body. Eg: Take a comb and brush it on a hair 3-4 times and then take it near some small bits of paper. Donot touch the comb with the paper. The bits of paper would get attracted to the comb. This is because the comb is charged because of the rubbing on your hair and it attracts uncharged objects like paper.

This is the physical force exerted by muscles on various objects. Example of muscular force include a horse pulling a cart , a boy pushing a ball etc.

Nisha Bhujade 7 years, 2 months ago

The force resulting due to the action of muscles is called muscular force . Example: lifting a bucket,an elephant carrier load

Yogita Ingle 7 years, 2 months ago

Muscular force is the force applied using parts of the body like arms or legs. It is force that results due to the action of muscles, and is a contact force, since there is a contact between the surfaces. Muscular force is needed whenever movement of the body occurs. Walking, lifting, getting up from a chair, crossing a leg, etc. all require muscular force.

Rods and cones are the two types of photoreceptors in the human retina. Rods and cones are essential for vision. Rods and cones together are able to detect movement, light and colour, and relay that information back to the brain.

Rods:  Rods are highly sensitive cells located in the outer area of the retina (the lining of the back of the eye). They are used in areas of dim light and are most acute to light, shape and movement changes. Rods do not detect colour. Rods help people to see in low light.

Cones:  Cones are located in the central fovea (central area of the retina). They are less sensitive than rods and require bright lighting. Cones are central to our ability to see colour. Cones help people see colours and have depth perception.

A body is in rest will remain at rest and a body is in motion will continue in motion in a straight line with uniform speed. Unless acted by an unbalanced force. A body at rest or to keep moving with same velocity without any external force is applied on body. The first law of motion is also known as the law of inertia.
