Shrillness is a word used to describe the quality of sounds that have a high-pitched, strident, raucous, screeching or harsh character, such as those produced by a trumpet or piccolo, but it can also be used to describe a widely recognised and puzzling phenomenon whereby certain sounds are perceived as psychologically.

Spontaneous combustion is the ignition of the substances due to the rapid oxidation of its own materials.
There is no requirement of heat of external sources.
Rapid combustion on the other hand releases large amount of heat and light energy.
Explosion and the firecrackers is the best example of rapid combustion.

- Audible sounds are those that can be heard while inaudible sounds are those that cannot be heard.
- Human can hear sounds with frequency between 20Hz and 20,000Hz.
- As we grow older and are exposed to sound for longer period of time, our ears get damaged and the upper limit of audible frequencies decreases. For a normal middle-aged adult person, the highest frequency which they can hear clearly is 12-14 kilohertz.

The major stages of the flower life cycle are the seed, germination, growth, reproduction, pollination, and seed spreading stages. The plant life cycle starts with a seed; every seed holds a miniature plant called the embryo. There are two types of flowering plant seeds: dicots and monocots. Once the embryo germinates from its seed or parent plant, it begins to produce additional organs (leaves, stems, and roots) through the process of organogenesis. New roots grow from root meristems located at the tip of the root, and new stems and leaves grow from shoot meristems located at the tip of the shoot.

The water cycle, also known as the hydrologic cycle, is the continuous movement of water from the earth’s surface to the atmosphere and then back to the ground. It is a continuous process. Hence, it does not have a starting or an ending point. Thus, the water present on earth has been in circulation since the evolution of the earth. Water goes through all the three states, solid-liquid-gas, in the process. There are several factors that assist the water cycle, the sun, air currents to name a few.

The mammary glands located in the breast are responsible for producing milk for a suckling baby following childbirth. Each gland consists of a series of lobules, or glands that produce milk. They connect to ductal lobes, which connect to the lactiferous ducts.

At high altitudes, the atmospheric pressure is lower than that at sea level, so the boiling point at high altitudes is quite low, which means water boils very fast and at low temperatures. The food inside it does not get enough heat to get cooked and thus food is difficult to cook at high altitudes.

Computer Science is the study of computers and computational systems. Unlike electrical and computer engineers, computer scientists deal mostly with software and software systems; this includes their theory, design, development, and application. Major topics include in any CSE undergraduate degree course are Operating System, Design and Analysis of Algorithm, Programming Languages, Microprocessor, Computer Software, Database Management System, Mobile Communications, Cryptography and Network Security, Performance Evaluation, etc.

The gender of a developing baby is determined at conception, when the embryo has either two XX chromosomes, or an X and a Y chromosome. Around the 6 th week of the unborn baby's development, a gene on the Y chromosome of a developing boy tells the fetal tissue that will form the *** organs to become the testes. Men determine the *** of a baby depending on whether their sperm is carrying an X or Y chromosome. An X chromosome combines with the mother's X chromosome to make a baby girl (XX) and a Y chromosome will combine with the mother's to make a boy (XY).

Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves that make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. Earthquakes are caused by tectonic movements in the Earth's crust. The main cause is that when tectonic plates collide, one rides over the other, causing orogeny (mountain building), earthquakes and volcanoes. The boundaries between moving plates form the largest fault surfaces on Earth.

We can define Force as the push or pull of an object. Push and pull come from the objects interacting with one another. The direction towards which the force is applied is known as the direction of the force, and the application of force is the point where force is applied. The Force can be measured using a spring balance. The SI unit of force is Newton(N).

Acids undergo dissociation in aqueous solution to form H+ ions. When electricity is passed through an aqueous solution of an acid, the H+ ions reach the cathode and each H+ ion picks up one electron from the cathode to form H2 gas. Because of this reaction, an aqueous solution of acid conducts electricity. An aqueous solution of an acid conducts electricity because in water, an acid (HCl) dissociates to give ions. Since, the current is carried out by the movement of ions, an aqueous solution of acid conducts electricity. During dilution, more of acid dissociates into ions.

In plant cells, the cell wall (made of cellulose) determines its shape and gives it the rigidity that gives plants their strength and structure. In animal cells, it's due to the physics of the cell membrane that give them a circular shape as animal cells do not have a cell wall but only the plasma membrane.

A medicine which stops the growth of, or kills the disease-causing microorganisms is called an antibiotic. The source of antibiotic medicines are microorganisms. These days a large number of antibiotics are produced from microorganisms such as fungi and bacteria. Some of the common antibiotics which are made from fungi and bacteria are Penicillin, Streptomycein, Erythromycein and Tetracycline. Antibiotics kill the disease-causing microorganisms but usually do not damage human body cells.
Two important antibiotics are Tetracycline and Bacitracin.

Chloroplasts are found only in plant cells because they contain a green pigment called chlorophyll. This green pigment is important for photosynthesis in green plants. This chlorophyll pigment traps solar energy and utilises it to manufacture food for the plant.

1. Conduction is the process of transferring charges from a charged body to a neutral body. While Induction is the process of inducing the charges on a neutral body by the use of a charged body.
2. Conduction needs direct physical contact between the two bodies. However, no physical contact is needed in case of induction, but the two bodies must be placed close to each other.
3. In the case of conduction, the current flowing through both bodies have the same direction. Whereas in case of induction, equal current flows through both the bodies but in different directions.
4. A potential difference must exist between two bodies for conduction to take place thus requires a gradient path. As no direct contact is maintained at the time of induction thus the gradient path is not needed.
5. As the charge gets transferred in case of conduction thus there is a reduction in the amount of overall charge present in the charged body. While in case of induction the charge on the initially charged body remains the same even after inducing, charges of opposite polarity in the other body.

Menstruation is bleeding from the ****** that happens about once a month, as a normal part of the menstrual cycle. It is also known as having a period. During this cycle, your hormones make the lining of the uterus become thicker, getting ready in case of pregnancy. The ovaries prepare an egg (oocyte) for release and the womb (uterus) prepares a lining to nourish the egg if it is fertilised. When the egg is not fertilised, the lining of the womb is shed and a woman gets her period (menstrual bleeding).

A natural resource is what people can use which comes from the natural environment. Examples of natural resources are air, water, wood, oil, wind energy, natural gas, iron, and coal. The hydrochloric plant is, not a part of the natural resources plant, it is also known as a nonrenewable resource of the plant . Most of the fossils such as natural gas, oil and coals are nonrenewable resources.
